Their beds were so comfortable that we almost slept through 11am. Also my boys loved the bathroom because they both took a bubble bath also the whole entire room was super clean. I love their wooden floors and the flat screen T.V. that had HBO now if you ever rented a room in Saginaw,MI you know that some hotels don't have HBO or STARZ so I enjoyed falling asleep to the movie we watched on HBO MAX. This was a very enjoyable hotel and very cheap. I will be renting a room again here whenever we go to Saginaw. I really recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a good sleep and has to hit the highway in the morning. Its was a lovely place and the coffee was delicious and fresh.
Contrary to some reviews I read, The Outer Drive Red Roof Inn Saginaw location is actually very nice. Cheap room rates and clean rooms. Decent location and the staff are very polite and welcoming. The view outside on my last stay was beautiful. I included a picture of the rainbow my girlfriend and I spotted on our last night.
The room smelled terrible-dirty, musty, cigarette. There were stains and holes all over the covers and sheets. The floor was sticky. The toilet was dirty inside and on the seat. The baseboard was coming off and it was filthy. The ceiling was falling down. There was yellow marks all over the door frames and doors were covered in black marks. I tried to cover the beds with my own blankets for just the night but I couldn’t convince myself to even sit on the bed. I left my blankets and checked out after about 30 min. I felt like I needed a shower.
Maybe, at one time this place was nice, but the years have not been kind. The room smelled like fresh cigerette smoke, I asked my husband if they had given us a smoking room..he said "no and they made him sign, saying he would not smoke in the room" the bedding was stained and burn marks everywhere. I sparayed 2 bottles of Lysol all over the beds and surfaces...the sink and tub don't even drain, the tub had hair from weeks/months clogged in the drain, the toilet looked like it wasn;t cleaned in weeks/moths either. We slept in our clothes with only the top sheet and that was all. We, my husband and I and our 7, 8 yr old girls...didn't brush our teeth or shower. There was so many things dirty, broken and wrong with that room. There were also quiet a few loud and rowdy people hanging around at wee hours of the night. We would have left, but we already paid, it was late and we had traveled form Virginia, we were tired and thankful for the Lysol spary. When my husband went to return the key in the morning and tell the desk clerk of the conditions the clerk just nodded his head and said nothing. I made complaints to corporate, but all they did was tell the owner to respond and he did... with the same old crap in his response to the bad reviews on here. Red Roof Inn should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place!…
I stayed at the hotel about a month ago. I was walking to the vending machine and I stuck my head in the laundry room. To my surprise the laundry room is filthy. The eco lab machines didn’t have anything in them. I wonder how the housekeepers are cleaning. The laundry lady is a known crack head. Trash is all over the property. Zafar is the property owners name. I seen him go in the room with two crack head women. I asked one of the housekeepers how do they get paid. She said 3.85 a room. I see why the rooms look likes this. Overall this place is filthy and needs to be updated
My stay at this Red Roof Inn was a terrible experience. The sheets and bed spreads were filthy, there was what appeared to be old excrement in the the toilet, and the walls and curtains were stained. And if that wasn’t enough, there were sketchy people roaming the property. If it wasn’t so late, we definitely would have left! Stay far away from this place.
Rooms are very dirty and the sheets are stained. Floors dirty. Dog hair under the bed. Toilet had urine around it. Vending room very filthy. the Microwave was unbelievable nasty caked up food all in it. The mattress seem to have old blood stains on them. The parking lot was very trashy cigarettes everywhere. It seems like they keep the opposite from the front office full of drug addicts. The House keepers look like they are about 70 years old. So that clears up why the rooms are so filthy. I Called An complained to the owner safar that I had a terrible stay And wanted my money back he said there was nothing he could do. He said he could Just give me 10 percent off my next stay Which I would never go there again. This Red roof inn needs to be totally remodeled and with new staff and owner. I'm calling the health department on this location. I called Corperate an they took a statement the place is a joke. If don't want house guess coming home with you don't stay there meaning (Bed bugs)!!! This hotel could never compare to most of the red roof inns I stayed in.…
First i!impression was not good. We were on the back side. Trash and cigarette butts on the ground, and a car with a flat tire and smashed windshield in the lot near our room (120). The lady at the front desk was pleasant and friendly. It's the ONLY reason we stayed. It was after 3:00 PM, and many rooms were still being cleaned. Because they didn't want us to wait for a room, we were "upgraded" to a room with a microwave and a fridge, neither of which we used. (don't all rooms come with these items?) The room looked clean, and the furniture was new. Linens and sheets were clean. Bathtub sink and toilet were clean. However, the tv remote didn't work so we were given new batteries. It did work but we had to turn it off manually . We discovered that the A.C. didn't work as we were going to bed. We didn't report it as we didn't want to change rooms at that point. The floor was FILTHY! It looked clean as it is wood grained laminate, but when I walked from the shower to the bed and put my feet on the white coverlet, they left black smudges! There were also cobwebs in every corner and on all lampshades. I have never stayed at a Red Roof Inn previously, and based on this experience I will NEVER again. This hotel was the most run down, filthy place I've ever seen. There were trash in bags in the walkway between the front and back sections and it was poorly lit. Management obviously doesn't care that their emp!oyees aren't doing their jobs.…
Motel was clean and the staff was friendly. The accommodations were very basic. We normally stay at a 2 star motel that at the minimum has a continental breakfast and queen size beds but found that due to a soccer tournament this was the best avail able
Great hospitality !!! the front desk staff make me feel like family the energy is awesome here😎 reasonable prices man I highly recommend. The only problem I had was deciding to actually pick this location but it’s close to everything far as gas stations, fast foods and ATMs. I moved away maybe 4 years ago nice to see that this place has a new demeanor and new management 😁😁
