If ultra modern is what you are after then maybe thus isn't the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful, it is very comfortable and welcoming, good food, great service, very down to earth giving a nice homely feel. Just how you would want an old country pub

We stayed 2 nights over Easter weekend Elm Farm seems to be primarily a wedding venue and there were wedding parties on each of the days we were there. However, the room we were staying in (# 41) was in a separate block to the bar / reception area and we were not disturbed by any of the celebrations. The...

Booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband. When we arrived we were told that they had functions on for both nights of our stay and would not be serving food to guests that were not part of the Functions, but we were welcome to walk down the road to the local pub! We did this and the Black...

Excellent venue if you are looking for a quite peaceful stay with a maintained pond and pleasing birds around. My little really enjoyed the stay. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaners could be more pleasant as they did not seem amused when my wife asked them to hoover our room.

My partner and I have stayed here for the last 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely our accommodation was. Considering how cheap the room rates are; you wouldn't expect such a relaxing, enjoyable stay. All the staff are extremely friendly, especially Rachel, and nothing was too much hassle. They were very personal and made you feel welcome....

Built in 1604, lovely setting for this country house. Nice quite village with good local pub! Rooms are updated and comfortable with easy access to Norwich Airport and Norwich. The only issue was the ceiling levels in the room as my husband is 6.2ft and just skimmed the ceiling.

We stayed as a family of five for one night. We checked in easily and our 2 rooms were adjacent in the outside block. The rooms were a good size, bed comfortable and nice swivel dressing table mirror. Bathroom not luxurious but fine. Our deal included a 2 course evening meal which all enjoyed. Our whitebait starter and bruschetta were...

very pleasant clean accommodation with a lovely view of the garden area and pond. Good food and friendly staff. Ideal location for us for the places we wanted to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much so we have booked to go back again in June.
