    Staff was great, room wasn't clean enough

    We stayed for one night. It's true that, room wasn't clean. Bath tube was dirty. Dust is everywhere. But staff was great and helpful. Especially shuttle driver. Breakfast nothing special. For that price I think it's pretty good.

    no wake up call when requested and even reminded in case

    To We r so fortunate my friend set her phone alarm or we would have missed our flight. When I advised female staff she reacted as if it was no big deal. I have never had this happen at a hotel....before....not sure what Howard Johnson...More

    Staff is great

    This is a bare bones hotel. But rooms are clean, beds are comfortable & the staff is helpful & pleasant. I've stayed at 5 star places that I couldn't say that about. Thanks HoJo!
