I would like to thank the entire staff at Hyatt Dharamshala for making our summer vacation a memorable experience. Special mention to some specific people who made it even more special for us. First and foremost to Utsa for being super proactive and also giving us such warm and heartfelt himachali welcome. All the front desk staff was always eager to offer help and went above & beyond for our comfortable stay. Special mention of Anshul and Vijay from the front desk. Vijay also ensured we were able to reach the property comfortably despite the confusing roads. He kept on following up with us to provide support on how to reach the property a day in advance with constant follow up for directions through the small alley. My son enjoyed his time at Camp Hyatt where Aakanksha took good care of him. Regarding the food it was literally super magical since the atmosphere (specially evenings with live music) is so nice and positive that you end up eating more. Chef Yogendra and Chef Vikas along with the team made sure to fill our tummies to the brim and were always eager to ask for our opinion on anything we would like to make us even more happy. The staff at the bar is really skilled, which is absolutely amazing, They served us some amazing drinks. Specially Anshul at the bar made sure that we had a gala time. Our server Sneha at Thyme restaurant made sure to give us an unforgettable memory of celebrating our son’s birthday which will forever be etched in our memory. Overall a beautiful experience at a surreal place which was all made possible due to the excellent staff as they all know how to make you literally feel at home and luxury at the same time.…
Drove up from Chandigarh and did 4 nights here. The Hotel is set among a beautiful pine tree forest. Pretty new so the fresh feel is there to all spaces. Food is not brilliant but good. They’ve made a good effort to make the space kid friendly. Look out for Chand in the restaurant. Very attentive and helpful.
Great hotel and great service. Special thanks to Adarsh and Asheesh for their great work. Just loved everything about the staff. Thank you Hyatt Regency Dharamshala. One of the best properties. Staying with this.
Property rating excellent, staff good, food quality good, service super, property location too much good, rooms size good, washroom clean, evening high tea excellent, swimming pool area super, theatre room so good,
Very good location if you want the thrill of a lifetime and ready to spend money. Small winding road to the hotel. Everything was good but toilet would not flush. No pressure. Not sure it was only room 319 or overall issue. Other then that all was perfect.
The resort is very well made & relaxing. We loved the mini theater concept they have made. You can book a slot for any movies from there list (Free of any additional charges). And you can view it lounge style! If you are planning to stay here & walk up to the main market...... its not possible as resort is at a very steep up hill.
Everything at the hotel is very well thought of. The Staff members are really very welcoming and courteous. Our Butler Sahil made sure that we had a good time and didn't have to worry about anything. Overall a very well time spent at the Hyatt.
We recently spent five nights at the property, our experience was excellent. The property is well located, away from congested areas and well maintained. Food and other services are good, there is something for all age groups to do there
The property was very strategically located away from the crowd chaos yet just a 10min walk (downhill) to Mc Loedgunj in a serene spot amidst deodar trees. Luxury in the mountains but at a cost, is the right phrase for it. It was just a 45mins drive from the airport. Everything was perfect and services were as that of any luxury resort, However, one must refrain from booking a pick and drop from the hotel as maybe at pickup time there are no vehicles!! Once we got convinced by the activity people on the pick and drop but we never knew that drop was not available and for pick up too the confirmation call didnt come and we reached the hotel with a lot of difficulty. When you need the vehicle, book for the entire time. Also, dont go for the 10 min walk to Mc Leodgunj if you have bad knees as the 10min walk is downhill and takes a toll on your knee.…
Location of the hotel is too steep so it’s not possible to take our own car up and down every time. Hotel should provide shuttle service complementary till the downhill road which is currently provided only for few hours complementary and after that 600 Rs are charged each way. With Elderly parents and anyone with difficulty in walking steep up hill; this hotel is a BIG NO.
