We stopped here on the spur of the moment on an extended road trip and booked a night's stay. Christi was quite gracious and we had the choice of four rooms on the second floor. The house is early 1800s and decorated as such. It's homey and quiet. There is a nearby restaurant within a short walking distance that was...

If you're in the mood for early American architecture in a relaxed setting, this is the place for you. We stayed there during a summer trip to Michigan to see friends, and pulled into Port Sanilac after visiting Frankenmuth. The price was different than we had expected, so be sure you check your rates when you make your reservation because...

We booked a room at this place from the second time;) There was an issue with the room we reserved but our host gave us another option that exceeded our expectations! They really care for giving an excellent service!! We were really happy and looking forward to come back again;)

We were recommended to Raymond House Inn by a relative. The room was large. The bed was not comfortable in the least. TV was an old one and didn't have very good picture. The bathroom was a hodgepodge and strangely arranged. I realize it is a very old house. Perhaps if I had gotten a better nights sleep I would...

Raymond House is a beautiful old home in a small town. Christi is a gracious hostess. The breakfasts are delicious and the beds are comfy. There is a nice parlor and a deck, both have plenty of seating to play a game or just sit and talk with other guests. Complimentary sherry was a nice added perk, especially as the...

My husband and I were taking a trip around Michigan for our 28th anniversary and wanted to stay and B&B's. A beautiful house with great old time decor. Christi was such an amazing host. She makes beautiful jewellery which we had in common and spent quite a bit of time discussing. Breakfast was good, we were the only ones staying...

This is a modest B&B built in the 1880's. Quite remarkable to stay at such a grand home that's been around so long. We arrived 8:30 p.m. - about 5 hours beyond when we'd planned, so we really didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful setting and at least go down to the water's edge. We were so tired,...

This B&B has been around under multiple owners for the best part of four decades. It's a good solid place at a reasonable price. The night we were there the building was in the midst of a bat eradication program over which the owner's mother obsessed. Clearly...TMI. We arrived by boat with the distance between the harbor and the Raymond...

We stayed two nights at this amazing place. The room that we are in is absolutely cozy and beautiful. The rooms are done so great. You feel so at home here. They have left no detail undone. I would recommend this place to anyone! The breakfast was spectacular! I could not ask for a better place to stay and we...

We had a wonderful time staying with Cristy and Jack. We were only there 1 night on a Memorial Day weekend, but enjoyed every part of it. They are both wonderful hosts and were very accommodating to our cycling group. The rooms are very nice. Jack has a huge collection of lighthouse models and they run a quaint gift shop...

“We were in room #3 which is nice the only down-side is that it fronts on main street and at times was a bit noisy, but not overly so.”

“Talk with the Innkeeper and find what you need. We needed to be sure we were warm and quiet. Our room accomplished this fully and was very large. We had to be careful about the electrical outlets and how much demand there would be with each plug. Not a problem, but perferred not to have to move things around to be sure all the large drain of electricity items were balanced between the available plugs. The bathroom left a little to be desired. It was clean, we were just not ready for the sink to be in the bedroom.”
