Who would've thought it would be so difficult to get a place to sleep in northern U.P. Of Michigan. Stayed two nights and found it adaquite, but was pricy for what it offered. No extra's just a comfortable bed and a warm shower. Hotel is older but again had openings. We even had to pay for the ice. I strongly...

I would like to give a huge thank-you to the entire staff at this hotel. They made my suprise birthday getaway for my wife very enjoyable. I called a few days before hand and asked them if they could put rose pedals in the room in the shape of a heart on the bed and they did just that. My...

Our room was just ok but we had to pay over $80 for one night out of season even though hardly anyone stayed there. The sign outside said rooms started at about $50 or so but I couldn't get our reserved price lowered. We had to stay here since we visited Whitefish Point into the late afternoon. The so-called breakfast...

My family and I came through this cute little town, this is a nice clean hotel. Everything you need to stay for a night or two. Located in the middle of town, close to the falls and other cool spots you can check out. We feel safe because you have to have a key to get in the building.

We were impressed with our stay at the Paradise Inn! The rooms were very clean. Yes, they lacked amenities, such as refrigerators and microwaves, but they did have cable television and wifi, things several other places lack, along with very good AC. The staff was so friendly and they even saved me coffee and a breakfast roll when I was...

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned. However, the room was clean, as was the bathroom. No extra amenities like a frig, or microwave , but we survived. Breakfast was pre packaged rolls. Summer rates are high, that is just the way it is here in the U.P.

This hotel is fine for 1 or 2 nights, though the reviews of this establishment were a bit exaggerated. The hotel does lack many of the ammenities that most hotels provide, such as an ironing board, hair dryer, fridge, etc. the interior decor is pretty dated. The walls are thin, meaning everything someone else dies or anytime they walk in...

We appreciated the wifi and the tv channels, which you dont always get in that area. Mostly the staff (Beth?) couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Shes a keeper. The plastic mattress pad cover made me too warm but not too uncomfortable. Will go back.

Looking for somewhere late one evening for a visit to the falls the next day. Fast check-in with friendly staff, no breakfast incl except donuts n coffee. Room clean and spacious. No elevator or fridge in room. Old noisy A/C but it was quiet and cool outside so an open window worked instead. Price a bit high.

Decided to head up to Paradise on a Saturday afternoon and got 1 of the last rooms. Motel was clean and OK but walls apparently are thin cause I heard everything people in the next room said. But it was right in the middle of town so it was OK.
