Stayed in Newaygo for a week of fishing with family. Pam and Tom were fantastic hosts. They did anything they could think of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, including inviting us to their Easter dinner. And making a pot roast for us all one night. Keep in mind this is a traditional B&B with a shared bathroom for...

We stayed in the Lumbermans Suite. The bed and room was very comfortable. Being the dead of winter we could not explore the grounds but they looked nice. The house was well maintained the staff very friendly and the breakfast was great. If we ever get back to Newaygo we will definitely stay there again.

Our visit to this lovely, un-fussy Victorian was for family purposes and we decided not to stay with relatives. The reservation was changed for medical issues with no problem--many thanks! Love the town, love the home. I don't need a B&B with wine and pretentious aged cheese. Here are things to watch. Our mattress was completely shot. It's a good...

We had a lovely stay, the owners/ operators are super friendly and nice people, they were especially. Ice to our five year old son and went out of their way to make him feel at home. Breakfast was a nice little feast of scrumptious bacon, quiche, oatmeal, fruit exe a really lovely spread. Our room was cozy with a comfy...

Stayed at this B n B for 1 night. Nice accommodations. Friendly host couple. Very good breakfast. Overall this is good place to stay. I was going fishing with a local guide so this stay was a comfortable start to the trip.

Doug and Robin were pleasant hosts. I enjoyed seeing a married couple devoted to each other. The breakfast was delicious all three mornings we were there and serving hours were reasonable. Our room was very small - I was glad it was only a place to sleep and that we had somewhere else to be during the day. Since it's...

While I have given this B&B "top marks" in the past, sadly, I can only give it an average rating this time around... The B&B, as before, is clean and well appointed... For that reason, I wouldn't completely "write it off" as a place to stay if one wishes to be close to the Fremont/Newaygo area... The hosts are very...

My wife and I go to Muskegon once or twice a year. We usually stay at one of the chain hotels off US31, but this time they wanted $150 a night. So we saw this place about 1/2 hour away in Newaygo. We always enjoy a good B&B, and at $85 for a room (shared bathroom) it seemed like a...

My husband and I spent two nights in the Lumberman's Suite. We were celebrating our anniversary and Doug and Robin surprised us with flowers and a card in the room as well as a special bottle of grape juice. Our room was represented just the way it was described online and by Doug when we called to clarify a few...
