Gorgeous 18th stone building which has been awarded the EU eco label. Restauration in progress. Limited menu, only two choices for starters, two main courses (pigeon or asparagus risotto) and two desserts. My husband and I had different menus, they were both delicious. Bedroom was large, bathroom on the small side with very limited toiletries basically just a soap/shampoo(?) dispenser,...

we stayed at les orangeries for a lovely week in midwinter. had the misfortune of falling ill while there... but what a great place to be somewhat incapacitated! amazing food by chef david royer, and the friendly, efficient hospitality of everyone from the owner/innkeeper, olivia, to every single staff person made being there a memorable experience. the inn itself is...

I stopped here for one night with a colleague from The Netherlands. We arrived at 19:30 and quickly made it to the dining room. The food was superb and the service attentive. All very civilised. The beer was my favourite Leffe. The room was great with lots of character, although the lack of a shower screen caused a bit of...

Desperate for a place to stay on route south, this was the only hotel in the area we found that was open. What a pleasant surprise and a stroke of good luck! Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated, with bathroom, dressing area and separate toilet. Period furniture was used throughout the hotel, which added to it's charm. The...

This was the only hotel we could find one Sunday night! It is gorgeous, big beautiful rooms, huge garden, big lap pool, private parking, a grand old stone building. We were warmly received by a lovely woman, who offered us a choice of garden room for €110 or restaurant room for €95. We chose the garden. The next morning, she...

The food and grounds of this hotel are its' stand out points. The breakfast in particular was very impressive. The dinner comprised of locally sourced organic food which was interesting for adults, not so much for children though . The pool was extremely long and as such, was a big hit with our kids but, as with many establishments in...

I visited Les Orangeries with a friend back in April this year, and I was very impressed. Set in a quiet, rural location, this is the place to come if you want to enjoy an unhurried meal with good conversation. The service was exceptional - our waiter was very friendly and spoke to us in English when he realised we...

First, the good: the restaurant is excellent and the staff are pleasant. However, our room, which was described to us as "très spacieuse", felt cramped with just the double bed and a very narrow camp bed for our daughter. One electrical socket was hanging off the wall. There was an extra charge of €5 for our dog, which the hotel...

Lovely staff, beautiful surroundings, but disappointed with the food! Very hot weather, an ice machine air conditioner and an extremely busy road, not conducive to a good nights sleep! Went because of an article in the Times re where restrain tears like to eat. Mmmm good but not amazing.

Country style hotel in small town however ask for room on the back of the property as road is noisy since the resurfacing works. Lovely long inviting swimming pool. Shame there was not more choice on menu though risotto was tasty
