Douglas and Candida Stoutenborough, Newbury Park, California, USA Our first visit to Loire Valley could not have started off better. Blere is a charming town with just enough of what you need -- wonderful restaurants, boutiques, and tourist information too! Le Belvedere (a beautiful Manor house) was perfect. Our family of four (with two teenage girls) found this B&B charming...

We spent a lovely week with Dominique and Jean Renaud at Le Belvedere in Blere. Our room was comfortable and private, with our own entry from the street. Just outside the door, the garden welcomed us. We spent many afternoons, tired after the morning's activities, just sitting in the garden reading. Each morning at breakfast, Dominique encouraged us to explore...

Great B n B: beautiful house of historical interest, lovely garden. There is a very good michelin 1 star restaurant across the street, Le Cheval Blanc -- lobster, sweet breads, local reds, armagnacs were memorable. There are other restaurants, more modest, within walking distance, and cafes to sit in. Chenanceuax, a must see chateaux, is a lovely, car free 6km walk...

I have stayed at many B and Bs all over France and the US and the Belvedere rates near the top. Location: in a small town, just big enough to have whatever you need and small enough...

We stayed in the "Chambre de Dames" at Le Belvedere B & B for three nights. The room had a street entrance which provided privacy and we did not have to disturb the owners when coming and going. Dominique and Jean Renaud were very gracious hosts and had everything ready for us. The B & B is called a "Chambre...

We chose this Blere B&B for Blere's central location (just down the road from Chenonceaux) and our attraction to the unusual architecture of this home. We stayed for one night in June 2005, in 'Chambre des Dames', paying 86e for bed and breakfast. We located this accommodation via Chateaux-france - a great web site, just enter a town, then click...
