My husband and I just spent two nights at Le Belvedere in Blere. The owners are very kind, welcoming and accommodating and will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, which is fairly difficult to find in France. Our room was also unique because...

This B&B worked well for us. It is a historic house, especially the faux marble staircase. The rooms were spacious, clean, and historically charming. The secure parking was a welcome addition. Breakfast in the morning was ample. There are nice restaurants and ATMs in the next street. I would recommend this B&B to aficionados of historic homes that are going...

Our four-night stay at Le Belvedere was a friendly and comfortable introduction to our holiday in France. Over the course of the stay, Dominique and Jean-Renaud showered us with very thoughtful care. Arriving after a long drive from the airport in Paris, my wife and I quickly felt at home in Chambre des Dames in their nicely-restored historic house located...

We stayed with our little 9 month old baby and my parents for one night and kindly asked if we could have breakfast earlier than usual (8am instead of 8.30am). The owner said NO and added that "she wasn't going to take care of babies"... It's like we were an inconvience, especially with a baby. We parked our car on...

I'm very surprised with your crazy review! - 1/ When your mother booked, she forgot to tell me about the presence of a baby and called back to tell about it! Can you imagine forgetting there was a baby....so to please her, I said O.K. but I never have babies for maintening the house quiet for other guests. - 2/...

We are rather late with this review as we stayed last October! So, apologies for that. We have been so many times now it really feels like home. Dominique and Jean Renaud are wonderful hosts and helped us, as they always do, with our plans for each day. I am surprised to read a couple of the reviews as we...

We stayed here in September 2014. I was shocked to find that there was a candy bar from the previous occupants on the floor at the side of the bed right under where the coverlet touched the floor. I also saw a can of pesticide in the kitchenette. Bad signs! I am glad we stayed here only one night. The...

This very charming Bed & Breakfast is situated in the middle of the small, quiet village of Bléré. It's one of those villages fleuries, rich with flowers, and lies on the river Cher. It's close to all great Loire Chateaux, in particular to Chenonceau. We rented bikes and peddled along the river Cher to get there. An easy 7-8 km...

We stayed here with our two children July 15-18. On our second night, we came home from dinner around 8:30 and sat in the garden for a while enjoying a glass of wine (20 ft from the front door). Since we were on the property, I left my purse (with the key and cell phone inside) in the room. When...

My guets have a house key and I always insist on telling them to keep that key all the time in case the front door is closed- for safety reasons at night! We live in the house but don't keep a close eye on guests and can't know if they are in bed or outside. Why didn't they have the...

Stayed here for 3 days with 2 couples and had a great time. Beautiful old house, the owners were very nice and offered great advice for places to visit. We went for a flight around the Chateaus with Jean-Renaud, fantastic experience. My wife and I stayed in the Chamber des Dames which was a big room with a very comfortable...

I came here for one night with my mother and my two adolescent children. When I booked on the phone I had no idea what to expect from a "chambre d'hôtes" in one of Frances most touristic region. When stepped through the gated door it felt like stepping into a mini garden of Eden surrounding a beautiful mansion. Straight away...
