With many advance booking deals in Latin America under my belt I must praise Jason and Harvest House as one of the very best. You can count on honesty and integrity and prompt attention to your needs and any problems. Harvest House is a good value and good place to stay in Leon and you can count on them for... More

When I decided to go back to Leon I didn't hesitate to call Harvest House again. Friendly staff, beautiful gardens and great location. Last time I stayed in an apartment this trip a private room will do. They even set up my transportation from Managua to Leon at 2am.

For the price this place was okay. The bed was fine, shower weak and the fan badly needed. We had issues with ants (lots of them) which was sorted quickly. Not bad just not very good either. Fridges needed a major clean out and clean.

Great place to stay in Leon. Close to shopping, grocery stores, and night life. The owner Jason is helpful and recommends lots of local restaurants and places not to miss in the city. All of the staff are helpful and keep the house clean everyday

If you don't want to socialize with local Nicas, and like busy bodies and gossips, this is the place for you. Nice garden and decent kitchen. I was chastised for having Nica visitors. I did not move to Nicaragua to hang out with gringos.

This guest, Steve, in his late 50's possibly 60's, was confronted for bringing 19-20 something year old boys to the house to have sexual relations both in the middle of the day and at night. This has nothing to do with nationality and to try to ruin our business name with accusations of discrimination is just out of line. You... More

This place is a wonderful oasis in the midst of Leon. It's huge with plenty of rooms throughout. There is a good sized community kitchen with refrigerators, stoves, sinks, and storage cabinets for your groceries. In the back is a wonderful tropical garden and sitting area. The rooms range in price from extremely low, to mid-range (still cheap) to an... More

The main building is a lovely colonial home built in the 1800's, with additional rooms built more recently surrounding the nice back patio (lots of plants, birds, outdoor seating, BBQ). There are large, common areas for dining, relaxing, & television viewing and a well-equipped communal kitchen with a very organized system for storing your own food. Single rooms with shared... Harvest House has the formula for a restful and comfortable stay: no noise after 10PM, no drugs - that includes weed, and clean, large common areas including well kept courtyard garden. Guests like this formula because many choose an extended stay and willingly cooperate with each other. Full value for the budget conscious: Room basic/simple with windows opening to the inner... It needs to be emphasized that if you're paying $35, you're not going to get a $70 room. This is a long term stay accommodation with options for an ensuite room with a/c (augmented by a fan). The a/c took a bit of time, but along with the fan, it was quite comfortable. The shower was large and a small... More
