I booked an airport transfer and a private room for my first nights in Nicaragua. It took the taxidriver more than 2 hours and a couple of expensive phone calls to find me. 70US$ for a crappy car without AC that was 2hrs late was clearly overcharged. The confirmed private room was not available so I ended up in the...

A great dorms, a the staff are very helpful, the yard is beautiful and relaxing, and the bar is always full and its very fun to hang around here. Use the staff to book trips around Leon, there are a lot of beautiful places to see there.

We had one lunch over here. Food is ok, nothing special. Service is slow but convenient. WiFi is good. You can pas by creditcard. You sit in a nice and cool garden. Good place to escape the heat of Léon, but not the best food around.

We enjoyed our stay at via via. The Hotel is very clean, good and comfortable beds, has a nice inner court yard. Unfortunately is Leon very noisy at night, we heard weird shots/bombing almost the whole night until 7 am. We don't know what it was... Via via is located right across of big foot hostel, so you can go...

We visited ViaVia in Leon for drinks and dinner, but unfortunately it was a bad experience. We ended up waiting 90 minutes (!) for a basic meal which any local housewife or semidecent cook should be able to prepare in 15-20 minutes. I really dont understand the hype about this place, which is Best avoided.

I eat and drank here a few times. The have good food, good service, and an interesting variety of clients ranging from locals to tourists to professional ngo workers. If you are spending more than one night in Leon i suggest you stop in here and see what is happening.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two days this week and wished we'd seen it when we were here two weeks ago. This place was great. It has a bar up front, a restaurant next and the rooms are in a quiet space in back. And if you really want to party you can go right across the street...

this was my first hostel experience and a good one at that. Good prices, good drinks, and good service. I like how they accepted credit cards since many places do not. They had hammocks which were great after a long day of volcano boarding or the beach. Sadly somebody stole my favorite shirt when I was there but I left...

Viavia is a very clean hostel. Our private room had 2 beds and a bathroom. It is a beautiful space, and not a noisy party place like some hostels tend to be. The free breakfasts were nice. The location is right in town, so everything is just a short walk away.
