colonial looking place in a decent area of Leon. just two blocks north of the main plaza and cathedral. it's a traditional courtyard building, where the courtyard has a small pool. the pool was great for a dip upon arrival when it was extremely hot. we paid $45 or so for a room in the upstairs back (this was a...

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights at Casa Leonesa. The guest house is quite comfortable, tastefully appointed with beautiful tiles and lovely artwork. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in February. It was very quiet, spotless rooms, traditional Nicaraguan breakfast, TV, A/C and small pool. The gardens were lovely and there were lots of chairs for sitting around reading or visiting with other guests. I also enjoyed the wireless access. The staff is very polite, they speak very little English...
