My wife and I spent a night at the Sunny Guest House and had a great time. We flew to Nepal without a very solid plan and asked the owner/manager to help us reserve flights and tours for the balance of our stay. He spent an hour on the telephone and made all our flight reservations to Chitwan and even...

Great location right beside the Nytapola Pagoda and few steps away from the Durbar Square. Stayed here overnight, the room is clean although the toilet seems a bit old with stain in tiles. Includes breakfast which is good as well as other food served at the rooftoop restaurant. The hotel staff were very helpful in arranging my transportation going to...

It would be a crime against tourism if you didn't visit Bhaktapur while you were in Nepal. Better still rather than do a day trip as most do then stay the night and savour a different atmosphere when the crowds have gone home. Sunny guest house isn't perfect , the rooms are a bit cramped for 2 sharing and it...

They even made suggestions and liaised with drivers etc on our behalf resolving problems with great foresight. I had my two young children with me and they were very welcome. I...

Everything in Nepal must be put in perspective. Don't expect 5 stars hotel facilities in most of the places around the country. So, in perspective, Sunny Guest House is a good place. The location is very good and the rooms are ok. There are three main concerns: first, the square on its side has two temples, one of them with...

We stayed in Sunny Guest House for two nights. We love the location of the hotel and visited the roof top restaurant for drinks and dinner a few times because of the view. We liked the food there too. I find that the staff is wonderful although we were dissappointed too with breakfast serving absolutely no earlier than 7:30.

We stayed in Sunny Guest House one night. We found its location on Taumadhi Tole as well as the views over the square and Nyatapola Temple great. We got superior room with beautiful wooden windows overlooking the square. There is a glas wall /what can be opened/ separating the windows from the room in order to avoid the street noise...

This is simple and rather budget hotel, but have quite heritage feel, thanks to the traditional architectural features, like wooden windows and furniture. It's location, on the Taumadhi square with beautiful Nyatapola pagoda and Bhairav temple is unbeatable. The rooms are quite small but ok for short stay. The restaurant is also good. It's fun just to sit in your...
