Checked in late in the evening and checked out the next day morning. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant , food was average. Requested a charger adapter from the front desk, they did not have one. They told me that there is one electrical shop nearby. I asked them to send some one to buy one from the electrical shop and I will pay. But they did not help me. I had to walk to the shop around 300 meters from the hotel and buy one. I felt the hotel front desk could have helped me as the shop was very close.
This hotel has a lot going for it but seriously loses out because of poor maintenance and housekeeping. Rooms are reasonable, if only the AC worked properly! It has a reasonable location which it needs to exploit more
Very good location near the temples. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room very spacious and clean. Reception very well decorated. Restaurant food is good. Only one small problem, wifi keeps disconnecting.
We stayed for just one night. We got a lovely welcome from the staff. Our room was on the first floor, facing the road but we didn’t find the noise too bad. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was adequate but with less variety than some places. The toast had been done in advance so was cold, piled on plates but there is a toaster so maybe you could have fresh toast. The coffee with milk was very good. The main attractions are not far away and it was good to be a little out of town. Overall, this is a mid-range hotel which is clean and comfortable at a good price.
Average hotel, swimming pool is broken (a very long time!). Helpful staf. No options to sit outside on terrace to have a drink. Located very close to the temple, but road is very busy so you have to take a riksha.
An adequate hotel close to the main temple. Rooms were clean and functional with the restaurant being better than average (and serves beer). Service was good and I recommend this for a good value, quick stay in Tanjore. Make sure you stay in a room that does not face the main road as it can be noisy at all hours.
we stayed at this hotel in Nov 18 for a family trip. Unfortunately we stayed there for less than 12 hrs. Hotel has great ambiance, rooms are spacious with king size bed and has storage geyser. Restaurant is good. Overall it was the best hotel of our tour.
I just stay one night at this hotel 1/9/2018, I call restaurant asking for ice and them reply no ice. After I replied pls bring Coca-Cola with ice and after they replied okay. but waiting for Coca-Cola and ice for 30 minutes and after they bring only Coca-Cola and not ice.. After 2 minutes they bring ice. Normally I check- in any hotel in south east asia if ice call restaurants bring ice and them just bring and no problem for that. So this hotel needs to improved restaurant services. Nice hotel!
Although Thanjavur is very nice, this hotel is no so. The room is ‘oké’, but the bathroom has a small boiler so no long showers after a hot day. It is the diner-area that is not good. Worn out and the coffee taste like s... TV is playing very hard. Staff had trouble understanding you.
The property is quite close to the Brahadeeswar Temple and is located right on the arterial road. That is the main drawback. The heavy vehicle traffic continues thro the night and the A/C room is no match for the rumbling sound that batters you all night. I was given the front room and no idea if the same applies to different rooms. The rooms are moderately furnished and Bath room is adequately clean. The poor partition between bathing area and toilet results in the whole floor remaining wet after one person bathes. The room service is reasonably good. But don't get carried away by the exotic menu card in the room that boasts of "Chicken Fricasse succulent" and " Spagetti Bolognese" etc. You will have to settle for the humble Chicken curry. House keeping is routine. Complimentary Breakfast is of mandatory, standard South Indian items only. Parking space is available but the drivers prefer to sleep in the car that is more comfortable than the space offered by the hotel.…
