Nice boutique hotel in the middle of town. Old, refurbished hotel with most amenities. I would stay again if in the area. The town has minimal services for dining and closes very early. Special order breakfast is included and worth having.

Very comfortable and modern hotel. The rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was good with great selection of fruit, cereal, eggs etc. Walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping. But best of all staff is honest. My daughter left her iPad and we were on our way to Kruger. The guy at the reception called us and returned it to...

This felt like a five star hotel to us. We loved all of the South African artworks on display and the fact that each room was designed by a South African artist. The service and breakfast was impeccable.

Guy at the reception was very rude to is , we couldn't get dinner , very very unprofessional. I called him earlier he never told me that dinner you need to book in advance . Asked him about hikes he told us to go to next hotel and they will help you. Would never recommend this to anyone

We stayed in the main building, where each room seems to have its own particular style. Ours was quite big and well equipped, though not extremely modern, but nothing to complain about. There are also rooms in small houses behind the pool, that looked nice too. The reception area, bar, restaurant, terrace and pool areas are very nice. Great service...

The location of the hotel is in a not very nice part of town, quite noisy. However, the insides of the rooms themselves are very nice indeed; they are very well appointed, and surprisingly pleasant inside. Unfortunately, the hotel manager/owner(?) was very discourteous when we enquired about supper. Apparently you must reserve before 6 pm, so when we enquired at...

We spent a very pleasant one night and found the hotel , grounds and staff excellent. We highly recommend the hotel. Our stay reminded us of how the hospitality industry used to be "in the old days" - adequate accomodation , great lounge , wel,l run dining room , beautiful surrounds and gardens etc etc . The staff excelled themselves...

This is an ideal location for visiting Blyde River Canyon and the numerous waterfalls in the area. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was really good with a set 3 course meal. Our room was at the front of the hotel and the only downside were the...
