Please don't even look for this place. Its very old, dirty and smells and owner is extremely unorganized. Our accommodation was cancelled, he didn't even phone us only on a day of arrival he asked me " didn't you get my email to phone me urgently". Why didn't he pick up the phone and phone me? This place doesn't deserve...

My husband and I took our 3 grand-kids to Mpumalanga for a 5 day stay. We loved the farm like experience and the host Louis was the best host I've ever met. The kids loved the "old" Victorian look and feel of the place. Yes it is old but it is suppose to give you that old feeling. It made...

What was once a beautiful place is now showing signs of neglect and in desperate need of attention. I am afraid to say we did not stay. The standard of hygiene, appearance, decor and reception was unacceptable for an advertised place in which to stay. If it were a "back packers" I might have understood! We mentioned to Owner Louis...

What an interesting, charming venue. Louis was very talkative and attended to us personally. He was happy to show us around the entire establishment, very proud of his own handiwork. The garden is large and planted with numerous beautiful plants. All it needed was some rain to turn it into a flower paradise. We had lunch there on Monday and...

After 9 years we were able to visit and stay here overnight on our way to Hazyview. This is a really gorgeous place to stay, Louis, the owner is such a brilliant cook and host. The rooms are needing a little work but are still unique in the way they are styled. this was our third stay with Louis in...

A little way out of Graskop, you will find the Berlyn Peacock Tavern - easy to find and worth what you pay for. The place needs a bit of work (the shower wasn't the best) so don't expect a 5-star experience at a 3-star B&B but our host, Louis does his best to make you feel comfortable and at ease...

Our stay was perfectly comfortable, and not quite like a hotel, which it isn't. As a guesthouse, I cannot complain much about the rooms, which were quaint, and the host was attentive and provided enjoyable home-cooked dinners and breakfasts. The living room and bar area seems rather unkempt and disorganized, and need some housekeeping ( we had to help ourselves...
