Yes...its hot. But you should expect that in the summer...in Africa...in the desert. The route there is gorgeous...rugged landscape...dry....beautifull. The roads are good. The resort itself is a little worse for wear...but considering the age of the facility and the climate....it is not too bad. The ablutions in the campsite is not up to scratch...and if you go in summer....the...

I agree with WARNING!!!! Don't go there!!! After a wonderful tour through Namibia I made Ai-Ais our last stop so that my Guest from the UK could relax and enjoy the hot springs and a message. The place is run down, and look shabby. Indoor pool was dirty and filtration didn't work, nothing works.. My room was comfortable with a fridge and...

We had an epic stay in Namibia and wanted to see Ai-Ais. We camped for 2 nights. The place is dirty, run down, staff are useless. There are only 3 pools, the big outside pool is very dirty with algae growing everywhere, the 2 indoor pools and indoor area need serious attention, weird floating particles in indoor cold pool with...

This resort has had some rough reviews over the past few months. When I arrived I realised that the glory days were over as the whole resort appeared to be a bit run down. Paving and tiles were cracked, signs hanging loose, braai areas falling apart. I stayed 3 nights though and was able to observe the staff working steadily...

I was gonna camp here! Even paid the money.. but after getting out of the car and walking around ... changed my mind and head to the Orange River! Not only was it super hot.. there was a troop of baboons running around.. and I was the only person camping.. so didn't feel too safe! Also the indoor pool was...

Ai-Ais was the first stop on an epic 9000-km trip through Namibia and Botswana. I had tried to booked a chalet for our stay but there were none available so we camped. The camp sites are beautiful and clean and although quite close together, not cramped at all. The ablutions were spotless and the braai areas were cleaned every morning....

Before and after hiking the Fish River Canyon we stayed at the Ai Ais resort. Found the facilities quite neat but the service and food was shocking. Meat being one of Namibia's claims to fame, this was the worst steak and hamburger I've ever had. Just general lack of attention and love left quite a disappointing taste in my mouth....

We camped our whole trip through Namibia - and this was one of the better campsites in terms of comfort... the pitches had lawn, the ablutions where plentiful and clean, the shop relatively well stocked and the pool a welcome respite. That said, take it for what it is! It is a bit of a 'resort' which means it attracts...

This place was a bit disappointing. The aircon in the room did not work nor were there any remotes for the aircons. The bathroom paint was peeling. The outside pool was nice although the deck chairs were mostly broken and the pool was a bit dirty. They did start to clean it though. The most disappointing hong was the indoor...

We arrived at the resort at 17:00, after being on the road from 06:00 the morning. Entering the gates to the lodge almost made us turn around, doubting the accommodation booked. The tennis court was the first thing we saw and it displayed that maintenance is not a priority. Arriving at the reception we were informed that none of the...
