Stayed two nights on the Leadwood campsite which is based in the Onguma reserved. We were warmly greeted and given clear directions to our pitch. The reception area was lovely (nice loos after a long drive!) and a lovely gift shop. Our camp area was spacious, private shower/loo with plenty of hot water; all very clean. Also washing up area...

Stayed here for a night after exiting the eastern side of Etosha. The whole expereince was lovely. It was nice to have our own space to set up camp and our rooftop tent, but we also extensively used the pool, bar, and restaurant of the Onguma Bush Camp Lodge itself which was a five minute walk away. The food was...

Really enjoyed this campsite, the sites are huge, shady and each with their own facilities. The lodge is a short walk away and ideal for a drink or meal and you can book game drives there. Really excellent spot on the edge of Etosha- nicer than the campsites inside the park. Nothing negative to say, highly recommended.

A quiet peaceful camp area on the eastern edge of Etosha Park. The lodge, pool area and waterhole were picturesque and soothing. this is a sister property to Camp Kipwe which is 5 star so our expectations were high. The setting lived up to our expectations but the kitchen was only 'good" after being exceptional at Kipwe. The service was...

Really enjoyed staying at Onguma both in 2012 & 2014. The campsites were shady with good braai area, fabulous ablutions and convenient washup area. The being in the bush feeling doesn't get better, with the many birds about camp and the lions roaring at night. Great place with added bonus of being right at the Namutoni Gate.

We stayed for two nights in February 2016 and were very impressed. The campsite offered huge individual sites with private ablutions which were very clean with lashings of hot water. We were able to use the lodges facilities including the excellent swimming pool, free wifi and a very tasty three course meal served in an attractive restaurant overlooking the waterhole....

The entrance to the Onguma properties is situated about 500m from the Namutoni Gate, the eastern entrance to Etosha. We originally looked at staying in the NWR resorts within Etosha, but they are (unfortunately) not well maintained and need a strong management team to get them back up to scratch. We thus chose Onguma campsite as - whether you stay in...

We stayed at the LEadwood campsite . We had our own bathroom which well taking care off. The campsite is unterneath some trees which offer sufficient shade in these extremely hot climate. The only negative thing I can report is about their catering service. I ordered some meat for the BBQ one day ahead . I received it right out...

We stayed at Leadwood campsite, where each pitch has it's own shower/toilet and shares a sink with one other pitch. Each pitch also had a raised firepit. There was a bit of noise from other campers, so this site is not secluded like Spitzkoppe, but is still significantly more private than you would ever find in Europe! The facilities are...

We camped one night at the older campsites (Leadwood). They are very nice with shade trees and private toilet and shower as well as a decent amount of space for each site. We were low on groceries so had reserved dinner ahead and had lunch at the restaurant as well. The lunch menu was unique and had some really interesting...
