We stayed there for one night after visiting Etosha. The farm is easy to get to from the road, the signs are clear. It is a beautiful place, everything is neat and clean. I didn't try the food. About the campsites, you have your own place with a table, power point and even water. the bathroom is shared. Overall a...

Great positioning for visiting Etosha but a very odd experience. No other guests appeared to be resident when we arrived and the staff seemed rather wrong-footed by our appearance. We didn't book in advance, so it was a matter of 'some business is better than none', I think. No management in sight, but an endearing history blu-tacked to the wardrobe...

Although the accommodation (double room) is pretty decent, there are several things which annoyed us. Firstly, when we arrived there was absolutely nobody on the property, and only after sounding the horn of the car a few times somebody helped us checking in. Then during our first night there was no water, and because also there was nobody there (no...

We stayed for 3 nights which we paid in advance and had a really bad experience. We got woken up at 4H00 every morning by the roosters crowing and then had to have a cold shave and shower as the owners switch of the geyser of the camping ablution area to save power. After we found out what they did...

We stayed there for one night coming from BOTS and before going to Etosha - great affordable accomodation and a fantastic buffet and breakfast. The owner made a point of chatting to us which also adds to the positive experience. Unfortunately there was no wifi.

We stayed for one night after visiting Etosha. Camping facilities were good. We asked for dinner and were invited to join the buffet! Buffet was perfect. Delicious soup. Enough salad. Choice of meat. Several pies for desert. Coffee at the fireplace afterwards. We enjoyed!

Camped for 1 night. Instead of the usually self catering, we decided to try the "4 course dinner". 160 Namibian $. The dinner did not include 4 courses, only two. The Salad was good, but the main course was obviously a frozen dinner. That was it. The owner was very rude, and argued that there were 2 types of Meat...

Though the farm is quite pretty, our experience was spoiled after interacting with the woman owner of this guest farm. To be quite honest, we were quite shocked by this woman's behavior. We arrived at about 6 PM to camp in this farm, and noticed that the price list offered a "4 course farm buffet dinner" at the price of...

During our trip through Namibia in September 2011, we decided at the last minute to turn off and include Etosha National Park in our schedule. We needed a place to sleep outside of the Namutoni Eastern Gate as we arrived late afternoon and could'nt enter the Park in time. We saw SACHSENHEIMN Lodge (26 km outside of the Namutoni Entrance)...
