We recently stayed one night in the National House Inn. We had a lovely, well appointed room. The Inn was very quiet, the hosts were quite helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the historic memorabilia on the walls and in every nook and cranny are well worth a look. There is a great deal of history dating to the Civil War...

I must be up front - I wanted a place to stay within walking distance of Dark Horse Brewery, otherwise I would be designated driver! While I am a hotel person, I threw caution the wind and stayed at the National House (a 10 minute walk to Dark Horse in the event readers are interested). This Inn is historic and...

The National House Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The Bed and Breakfast is awesome. Rooms are updated, even though the Inn was built in 1835. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the staff very welcoming.

Recently stayed one night while travelling between Detroit and Chicago. The property is run more as a boutique hotel rather than as a traditional bed and breakfast. The inn has a lot of character and is very interesting and comfortable. We had a suite which was large and very nicely decorated. The only reason I can't give it five stars...

Picture 1835 and you are there - hand-hewn beams, creaky stairs, beautifully-appointed rooms, but the 1976 renovation makes it very comfortable and simply lovely. The innkeeper served our breakfast in the cozy dining room and shared stories with us. We had the Charles Gorham Room on the first floor just off the front porch and overlooking the Brooks Fountain. Street...

I stayed at this inn with friends. I highly recommend it to travelers in the Marshall area. Breakfast was excellent and we were treated to popcorn in the evening! My friends and I enjoyed tea in the afternoon, too. The atmosphere is wonderful and the innkeeper was so nice. I am planning to take my husband back sometime soon! Check...

We stayed one night at the National, found it historic and lovely. The Inn has been renovated true to the period and the surrounding area is lovely, also with many historic buildings. Our room was the Anne J. Ells, one of the smaller, but we toured the other rooms after check out the following morning, all beautifully appointed. The Ells...

This place was stunning. Not one complaint. Clean, comfortable & relaxing describe my stay. The food was delicious & the coffee was hot. I loved the vintage decor! There is a garden seat to enjoy a quiet night. Popcorn is available at night for a treat!

My husband surprised me with a night away (without the kids)! We had a wonderful stay at the National House. The Inn is historic and charming, the breakfast and afternoon reception snacks were delicious! All of the accommodations are outstanding but the real winners here are the staff. Mary and Deb were amazing and made our stay golden. We plan...

My husband surprised me with an overnight at this B&B for my birthday. The place was beautiful!!! They had a nice birthday treat for us waiting in our room upon arrival. We toured the house and each room was nicely decorated with historical memorabilia. It is the oldest building in the county. You can see the original wood throughout the...
