John and Jean were wonderful hosts at the Cottage Inn. They make you feel at home. Both greeted us at the door. John carried our bags to our room and showed us how everything worked. He also showed us where everything was from popcorn to movies. Spoke to us each time we came in or were leaving, using our first names....

My wife and I spent the night at the inn in September and loved it. It was recommended by her aunt and uncle and I would recommend it as well. The innkeepers gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to see. The breakfast was great and so was the mid-afternoon snack of Mackinac fudge! The inn is...

This place was incredible! Just steps away from Fort Mackinac and one block from Main Street this was a perfect place to stay. Our lovely room was quiet and comfortable, breakfast had many delicious options, and the hosts were amazing. He took the time to draw us a map of the most important places to see, how to get there...

My wife and I spent 3 days/nights on Mackinac Island. This has been our fifth stay at the Cottage Inn of Mackinac Island. The accommodations/amenities are fantastic and morning breakfasts are excellent. We have stayed thru 3 different sets of hosts and each set have been friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and had every amenity that was needed. Jean's breakfasts were delicious. There were several different options for breakfast. We met...

My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Cottage Inn and it was delightful!! The Inn is so very conveniently located just a very short walk from the dock on the next street. The Inn is very clean and well maintained. The Inn Keepers offered maps with drawn out routes to take for hiking or biking and...

We stayed in the Victorian Turret Room and it was perfect! The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable about what to do and see while on the Island. Breakfast was excellent and they offer an afternoon snack featuring a local fudge shop. Even though we were there toward the end of the season and the weather was wet and chilly,...

The Cottage Inn was a perfect place for our first visit to Mackinac. John welcomed us a bit earlier than the usual check in time and gave us a great map with a highlighted walking route. The location of the Inn is very convenient; it's close to town, yet quiet. A highlight for me was having a delicious breakfast on...

My husband and I stayed in the Sail Away room for two nights as a belated honeymoon. Our room was spotless, breakfasts were delicious, and John and Jean were gracious hosts. We couldn't have enjoyed the location more (so central) and it truly felt like home during our weekend stay!

The Cottage Inn is lovely....the room we stayed in was at the back of the house and very comfortable and quiet. Nice amenities. Breakfast was great; a hot dish and homemade cake; bagels, muffins, fruit and yogurt. A nice front porch where you can watch the world go by -----especially the horses and the bike riders. Jean and John are...
