Special island to experience with no cars, only horses and bikes. Peaceful atmosphere. Metivier Inn was all it was advertised to be. The hosts were very welcoming and obviously enjoyed their role as hosts.

We have been coming to Metivier Inn for almost 40 years. It's the only place on the Island that we will stay at. The location is fantastic (one block off Main Street and the ferry docks), the Innkeepers, Blanca and Dave, are exceptional and friendly, and the owners, Diane and Ken, continue to make Metivier Inn the best on the...

This was our second time staying here this year. The inn keepers make you feel so welcome. It's the only place we will stay. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. Location, breakfast and rooms are perfect. Love this place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great--one block off the main drag so easy to get everywhere but out of the hustle and bustle. Right across the street from a riding stable, which we enjoyed. Rooms were quaint, a bit small, but adequate. Food was great! Beds were comfortable. No noise at night. Great front porch which...

Spent 3 nights at this lovely inn. The inn is centrally located and within easy walking distance to the main section of town. Our room was very comfortable and the innkeepers were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back to visit this island.

Took our first trip to Mackinac Island and stayed two nights in Metivier Inn. What a great find! The innkeepers were friendly and helpful, the breakfast very good, and the location was perfect. The porch was an added bonus! Lovely for enjoying a coffee and the fresh baked cookies on offer and a bit of people and horse and carriage...

We were on Mackinac for the first time and we were there for three nights, however, unable to stay at The Grand Hotel for two of those nights as we had planned. So for the first and third nights we stayed at Metivier and to tell the truth…those were the best nights of our stay. We had a smaller room...

My wife and I have stayed in many BnB's here in the states as well as out of the country and this rates at the top. Beautiful home with plenty of porch space to watch the cyclists and horse n buggies ride buy. They offer different size rooms with various views of water, downtown and gardens. Each room has it's...

We stayed four nights at the Metivier Inn on Mackinac Island. Our visit was very nice and we enjoyed it a great deal. Our room was cozy. There is a lot of room for guests to sit on the porch or the living room -- although it was a bit tight when everyone was trying to on our one rainy...
