The B & B was very clean and homey. The owners were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent - from the amazing breakfasts to the ever-present freshly made baked goods to the packaged snacks and drinks available any time.

We stayed at the Candlelite Inn as a result of a Groupon. It is about a four to four and one half drive from our home in Ohio. We spent Saturday night in Holland Michigan which has a great downtown shopping area near Hope College. The drive up to Ludington on Sunday was pleasant with a stop at the beach...

We absolutely loved our stay here! We had the Delux Romantic Retreat Suite which was priced very reasonably. It had it's own private entrance and temperature controls. Large 2 person jacuzzi style tub which I loved! Melanie and Gary are fantastic hosts and cooks! If you leave this place hungry there is something wrong with you as Melanie caters to...

My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before. We decided to try Candlelite Inn B&B because of some reviews we had read. We were welcomed warmly by Melanie and was shown around the house. Very quaint home, very big breakfasts! Her food is amazing! We stayed in the Ludington room which you can access from outside. It...

Currently staying here for three nights and very happy with the experience. Ours is the Ludington Room, one of two pet-friendly rooms/suites. A bit small, but it has a private entrance that works well with pets. Hosts Melanie and Gary are great cooks, very cordial and accommodating. Would love to return.

The showers were great and many selections on the television. This Inn is located about 7 blocks from town. The next morning, our hosts were standing by to...

We booked a 2 night romantic getaway here for our anniversary. It was perfect; lovely room, warm welcome from our hosts, Melanie and Gary. She is the gourmet chef, and he is the comic relief. The old fashioned charm is everywhere around you, as are desserts, candies, snacks, and beverages. No one walks away from this B & B hungry,...

This was a gift certificate from our children at Christmas. It was great! We weren't sure about a b&b, but it was wonderful! We had the suite with jacuzzi. Melanie had many gf options for me and and showed me the snacks that were GF. The bkft was fantastic with sooo many options. We are already planning to go back!

This is a lovely bed and breakfast with warm, welcoming innkeepers. Ludington is a great and charming getaway lake town. Candlelite was the best introduction to our first visit there. Our room was comfortable and air conditioned. There is a private bathroom open to the rest of the room. The innkeepers had fresh baked goods in the dining room all...
