I met a friend from out of town at the Ludington Ferry and wanted a cozy place where we could prepare meals and spend a night talking and catching up. The 2 bedroom cabin was super clean and very nicely maintained, as were the gorgeous grounds. The lawn and huge trees are beautiful. The cabin was simply but very adequately...

We have a large group of friends and family that vacation here every year. The kids always have a blast. The cottages are very clean, the owners take exceptional care of the property and are always investing in the resort. Great fishing opportunities and a very nice outside pool area. Also just minutes away from the beautiful beaches at Ludington...

We recently stayed at the Sauble resort over the Labor Day weekend. We found it to be a really nice resort. We had a good experience. We stayed in building number 21 and had an great view over looking Hamlin lake. The room was clean and updated. It had a full kitchen ,central AC ,two bedrooms a patio where you...

We had a great time, the location of the resort was amazing. There is a great pool for the kids (and adults), easy access to lake hamlin, Laundromat on site and a park/ sand area. As for the cottages, they are just alright, a step below your average hotel room, but ours was very clean. There are no dishwashers, so all...

We had a good time, it was very cold the first night but it warmed up. My only negatives were that there was nothing to wash the dishes with and they have a timed scent spray that goes off that is noisy. But its definitely my style of camping, I would go again.

Our room was such that simply unlocking the door took five minutes because the key would always stick in the door. They provided so very little...Not what they promised. The people were kind and pleasant, but you have to provide pretty much anything you want. The beds are soft and did not feel clean. Their"no refund"policy on any reservation was...

Cabins seemed to be in the middle of updating. Some of the windows were replaced, along with the furniture. Some of the furniture in Cabin 10 needs to go. It was pretty bad. In all, we just slept there and at an inexpensive price. The view of Lake Hamlin was beautiful, though, and the kids LOVED the pool with slide....

We had been to the Ludington area for our honeymoon and wanted to return for a fishing/family weekend. We were budget minded but didn't want to stay in a hotel. This resort was more than we hoped for and we had an 'awesome' weekend. We stayed in #22 and there were no surprises of what to bring. The view was...

Resort has an old time feeling, cabins 7 thru 10 overlook the lake but also busy traffic on Lakeshore drive and a boat and jet ski rental. Cabin has assorted old furniture, no sheets or towels provided (unless you pay extra), assorted old dishes and cookware but no dish soap, dish towels or paper towels. The gas fireplace was for...

Just returned from a week vacation at Sauble Resort with my husband, sister in law her fiancé, and father in law. We stayed in cottage 17 and even though it was close quarters we absolutely enjoyed it!! It was hot, no a/c, but thankfully we brought a couple of box fans. This is in no means a high end hotel/resort...
