We almost always go to B & Bs because too many hotels are just clones with no local atmosphere. The Main Street Inn is an exception and exceptional! Very clean and modernized with lots of nice touches. While the room was spacious, (as was the double shower,) and the deck literally over the river and accessible from the room was...

This is about my favorite layout of any hotel/inn I've been in. Rooms overlook the river with a great view. It has the nostalgic charm of a classic hotel and the modern convenience of 2017. We've stayed here twice and it's very clean. The staff is also very courteous and helpful. I'm a non-peak no weekend, diamond in the ruff...

High class. Friendly and hospitable hostess. Seven bedrooms each with their own private bath. The most wonderful gathering space including a full kitchen and living room with three full sized leather couches and two chairs. Mini Keurig coffee pots in each room. Our group of 11 friends gathered to spend some time together. We brought our own snacks and drinks....

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I loved it because it is located in the downtown corridor close to shops and restaurants. On this occassion, I was assigned room # 6. This window faces Main Street and it is a little louder than rooms that face the river. Main Street is used by locals prominently and traffic...

We had a local wedding and we rented the entire Inn for out of town family for the evening. Everyone loved the accommodations and the facilities. It was a great family weekend. Both Heathers on Saturday and Sunday were very helpful. We highly recommend the Main Street Inn and will consider it for future family gatherings.

Enjoyed our two nights at the Inn. Nice location downtown and enjoyed a walk to the various antique stores on Main Street. Staff was friendly and everything was clean. Huge shower. Our room overlooked the river. Bed was a little soft for our taste. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful experience!! Fabulous king-sized 4-poster bed, soft linens, huge double shower, white terry robes, and a Keurig in our room, #7. Love the old, historic feel with the modern luxuries. Great common area on 2nd floor overlooking the river with a large, full kitchen and expansive seating area to hang out or have a party. Our only complaint...

Stayed in the honeymoon suite. Clean, cute and quiet! Nice walk-able access to the busineses in Lowell. Super friendly staff. Nice fuffy towels, comfortable bed. We stayed for their Valentines Special. We received a bottle of bubbly, flowers and chocolates! I really like that they have real glassware for your morning coffee!

At the end of the summer, I contacted and visited the Main Street Inn to see about accommodations for my family who would be visiting for Thanksgiving. The facilities were very nice, clean and cozy, so we booked a room for 4 nights over Thanksgiving week. Two weeks prior to the stay, I contacted the Inn to confirm the reservation....
