Hall House is out of business and has been purchased by Kalamazoo College. It will become the Admissions Office so will definitely no longer be a B & B. Stuart House and Kara's Kottages (both B&B style) are within walking distance as is a Comfort Inn. Plusher but still close is Henderson Castle.

The Hall House was conveniently located 5 minute drive from the town center. This was our second time to stay at the Hall House. Both times were enjoyable. The owners were friendly and helpful to identify potential antiques shops and malls that were within an hour drive of Kalamazoo. They were very knowledgeable about area attractions and dining. The breakfast...

I arrived at Hall House very late after a long train ride from California to Michigan. Cathy very graciously showed me to a lovely room where i had a comfortable nights rest. The next morning, at the time of my choosing i had a delicious homemade full breakfast. Hall House is a lovely, historical bed and breakfast with all the...

I go to Kalamazoo three times a year for meetings, and each time, I find myself drawn back to Hall House. The proprietors Cathy and Dave create a welcoming environment for their guests. The rooms are always comfy and clean, and I appreciate the chance to unwind in the main floor sitting room, or in my own room in front...

Hall House is such a welcoming home away from home, I look forward to it each year as I start planning my annual trek to Kalamazoo. With each year I love it more--beautiful, comfortable, cozy rooms, a breakfast room with windows looking out onto the day and a gas fire in the fireplace on chilly mornings, an inviting sitting room...

My girlfriend and I rode our bicycles to the Hall House from South Haven and had a wonderful experience. They stored our bicycles inside for us and provided great customer service! The Hall House is very clean, the food was great and the room we had was equipped with a really nice whirlpool which was relaxing after a long bike...

Hall House is beautiful--lovely rooms, comfortable beds, attention to detail. I'm chemically sensitive and Kathy went to great lengths to make sure there were no deodorizers or other problem chemicals in our room. She even got hypoallergenic soap for me. We would stay there again.

Kathy and Dave were very warm and accommodating, which is one of the things we most enjoy about B&B's. On relatively short notice, they were able to set up an in-room massage for my wife, which was part of my anniversary gift to her (and she loved it). The location worked out great for us - access to trails for...

We were in Kalamazoo for the Gilmore Piano Festival in mid May. We had stayed at Hall House on a previous visit and had fond memories of the spacious Van der Horst Room with its fireplace and Victorian decor. We were lucky enough to get the same room and were again delighted. The Innkeeper, Kathy was warm and hospitable and...

found this place on google maps and decided to try it out when in the area. Very nice well kept place with comfy room and nice breakfast. Nice and close to downtown, will stay again if in town. Lovely old home tastefully decorated and the innkeeper was quite pleasant.
