We went to Lake 'N Pines Lodge for a long weekend on the Fall Color Tour package. It was wonderful. The room was decorated in a vineyard/wine theme, which was adorable. The view from the lodge is beautiful, especially in the Fall with mist on the lake and the fantastic colors of the trees. The owners are extremely helpful with... More

We stayed after the leaves had fallen so we missed the lake usage and colors but the house was great. Breakfast was excellent, free access to movies, and a very pleasant and comfortable Vineyard Room. We consider the upstairs suite with the hot tub for a future visit. We usually like staying at old houses but this was a great... More

We were supposed to be on a cruise to Bermuda, ported out of New York City. Because of Hurricane Sandy, we cancelled the cruise 2 days before we were to leave. I jumped on the internet and found Lake 'N Pines Lodge. The price was perfect so I quickly booked the cottage for 4 nights. The cottage was great. Clean,... More

We did a wine tour and everything was organized perfectly. Our room was amazing and the fall colors were spectacular. Our host and hostess were perfect in every way. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We stayed in the Bay chalet.....perfect

We very much enjoyed the Bay Chalet for our first night, I wish we would have called ahead earlier so that we could have it two nights! We really appreciated the detailed binder full of restaurant information and local attractions. Note to the owners: you might want to update your menus, because we tried to order a pizza that didn't... More

We stayed at Lake 'N Pines Lodge for a couple of days in early October while visiting our daughter who is a student at Interlochen Arts Academy. The lodge is a short drive from Interlochen, which was great. We stayed in a spacious suite with a private sauna and hot tub. The owners, Dave and Melanie, were friendly and helpful.... More

We'll get the negatives out of the way first: the place could use some updating. My husband and I stayed just one night in the Vineyard Suite and I felt like I was back in the 1980s as far as the fixtures and bathroom were concerned. However it was clean and comfortable enough. This B&B is situated on a scenic,... More

We visited the Interlochen area for the first time and stayed in the Vineyard Suite at Lake N. Pines Lodge. We loved our suite and the breakfasts were awesome. They arranged a limo service to pick us up and take us on a 4 hour winery tour. The wife and I really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go... More

I had a great time at this B&B. My gf and I had a very wonderful experience. They made us feel at home. The food was great. If I had gone earlier in the summer I would have loved to take out the canoes on the lake. Not really sure what else to say but I am thinking of another... More

Melanie was an amazing host. In the weeks before the getaway she helped me plan the perfect getaway for me and my beautiful girlfriend. She was more helpful than a travel agent. Simply amazing. The Bay Chalet was more than I ever expected. It was secluded and is the perfect place to spend time together.
