Melanie and David were very hospitable. Melanie was very helpful making the reservation and David makes AMAZING breakfast. The place was clean and had all the accommodations you could ask for. The views are beautiful. It is as good as it appears.

Mother son getaway prior to my boy leaving for bootcamp brought us to Lake 'N Pines Lodge. What originally started as a weekend of snowmobiling ended up better than we could have imagined. The unseasonably warm weather made snowmobiling impossible, however Melanie went out of her way to find other things for us to do in Traverse City. She even...

We stayed two nights in the Bay Chalet with the Interlude Package. Beautiful and peaceful setting. All of the perks in the package were wonderful, including the massages and dinner in Traverse City. The hospitality was top-notch, from the easy reservation process to the friendly welcome, shoveling out our Jeep each morning, to the delicious homemade breakfast delivered to our...

My husband & I spent 5 nights recently in the Pines Nature Suite. It was very spacious & had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed quiet evenings sitting out on our private deck or swing located by the lake at the back of the property. We also looked forward to Dave's delicious hot breakfasts delivered each morning to our...

Stayed here for a 2-night weekend on Labor Day for a honeymoon. Owners seemed nice enough, and atmosphere was relaxed. My wife and I left late morning for a day trip to Traverse City, and the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign was placed prominently on the door. Upon our return, it was evident the innkeeper had INTRUDED INTO OUR SPACE. Clean...

Thank you for staying with us, we are sorry that you felt us servicing your room was invasive. The room you stayed in, has the private Jacuzzi, that needs to be checked for chemicals daily. If the chemicals aren't kept in balance, the water will become cloudy, and such. We try to do that when you have stepped out of...

Spent the weekend in the Pines Nature Suite. Very nice living area included DirectTV and a large variety of movies for the DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill. Two good size bedrooms and a full bath provided more than enough room for us. Took a canoe out on the large lake, so beautiful and quiet. For what...

We love staying here. We have been here many times and really enjoy all the different packages that are offered. There is always something new to do. On this trip, we used their kayaks to go around the private lake. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway then this is perfect. We actually don't like filling this...

This is our third stay here and we love it. Any time we're in the area, we'll always stay here. We have stayed in all three of the rooms that are available to rent, but this last stay was in the honeymoon suite, complete with a sauna and hot tub in the room. They offer an outdoor jacuzzi as well,...

This is a 2 part review, first from the husband(Ryan) then the wife(Becky). Earlier this year I started looking around for a place to celebrate 5 years with my wife. I wanted to make this anniversary really special, and I wanted to surprise her by taking her someplace that we had never been before, so that took me to Traverse...
