The inn is beautifully decorated by the owners, the rooms all look very nice and there is lots of public sitting areas. Our room was spotless and very well maintained. The inn is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The breakfast food was great and Pat and Bob made us feel like we were with family. They both were extremely helpful...

I couldn't have asked for a better experience here. Besides being centrally located and a beautiful, well-maintained, perfectly decorated home, the service was outstanding. We arrived two hours earlier than we had told the owners but they graciously took us in and got us everything we needed. They advised us of where to go, good restaurants, nice walks, and supplied...

My wife and I spent five days and nights at the Dutch Colonial Inn in Holland, Michigan while visiting friends nearby. Our experience was thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing and delicious. A spacious and immaculately kept truly beautiful home in a quiet, spread-out residential neighborhood conducive to walking, the Inn is close to historic downtown Holland, but not too close. As for...

I rented the Tulip and Master Suites for two nights in August 2016. Both suites were very good. The Master Suite was on the first floor and was very roomy and nice. The Tulip Suite was on the second floor with the bedroom on the third floor. The Tulip Suite had two bathrooms. One on the second floor and one...

We stayed in the Jenny Lind. It was just like the pictures online. Quite roomy. I was pleasntly surprised by the space in the bathroom for the age of the home! When Pat was checking us in she was quite helpful and gave us a good lay of the land. It was nice to get tips from a local without...

The rooms are large and comfortable. They have both showers and jacuzzi baths. There were large and comfortable common areas, and the location is convent to attractions. Mary Ann was inn sitting at the time of our visit and was very helpful.

I probably would actually give it 4.5 stars if I could because this place is wonderful. The breakfasts were outstanding. Everyday you started with fruit topped with yogurt, followed by some type of warm coffee cake or danish. The main course was a hot dish usually accompanied by some type of meat. On our last day it was a wonderful...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Dutch colonial inn for a night. It was amazing. Bob and Pat (the owners) were awesome! The breakfast was homemade and excellent. Bob and Pat sat and talked to us the whole breakfast. They really made us feel at home! The rooms were clean and roomy. It was an amazing b & b.

We spent 2 nights in the middle of winter, an alternative spring break you might say. We stayed in the tulip room which was just wonderful. A two story room with two bathrooms and a jacuzzi tub. The innkeepers are wonderful hosts, we had a great breakfast and conversation every morning. The entire experience was very rejuvenating.

The Dutch Colonial Inn was a fantastic place to stay in Holland. We stayed for one evening and found the entire house to be clean, well-decorated, and so comfortable. The couple running the B&B were so hospitable and helpful with anything that was needed. When we first arrived we were even given numerous recommendations for restaurants in the area. Another...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Dutch Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast originated as a family residence. The initial structure, built in 1928, served as a wedding gift for the bride and groom. We offer beautiful guest rooms and elegant suites with king or queen size sleeping accommodations. All rooms have private baths with tiled shower, most with a double jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The inn's wonderful atmosphere is perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday celebration or just a getaway. Spacious common areas include a delightful wicker-clad sun porch and a living room on the formal side, yet cozy enough to unwind in. Warm weather permitting, the white wooden rockers on the open front porch invite you to relax and rock as the world walks by. Our delicious full breakfast pampers you, yet provides a healthy and hearty homemade feast. Awaken to fresh brewed coffee, the fragrance of homemade muffins, coffeecakes and ham/sausage egg casseroles. Close to beautiful downtown Holland and just a short drive from one of the most beautiful beaches in Michigan. ... more   less
