Clean and nice hotel with a county feel to it. The rooms are not super quiet, but the beds are fine and a nice desk chair. The breakfast area is spacious and nice, the food is standard. They could use 1 more elevator close to...More
Comfortable room. Friendly staff. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired but all in all a comfortable place for a few nights. Will definitely stay here again. Close to plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Pleasant people, comfortable room. Great water pressure and lots of hot water! Didn't have time to utilize the pool area, but saw others enjoying it! Looked like fun even in the nice winter snow storm we were experiencing!

According to Google Maps it's about 8 minutes from Holiday Inn Express to Baker Lofts. Since I have only stayed at the Holiday Inn, I cannot say whether other hotels would be better. I have heard from other hockey parents that the Hampton Inn, which is right next door to the Holiday Inn has a cool bar right next to the pool, so if kids are swimming you can have drinks and snacks at the bar. Holiday Inn did not have this, so we brought all of our own food and beverages to the pool area, but the staff supplied us with anything we asked for, such as cups, plates, utensils, etc. It also had an indoor/outdoor hot tub which was a huge hit with the kids. If you do not plan to use the pool with kids or a large group, then this may be a moot point. Holiday Inn is a nice clean hotel with great staff and free breakfast each morning. The 8 minute drive will be easy as Holland should not have much traffic (compared to Chicago, which is where I come from).
