We just returned from another great stay at Boyne Highlands. We've stayed at Heather Highland Inn several times now. We love the convenience of walking to the Main Lodge and the Heather Golf Course. The pool at the Inn is open year round and a great place to relax after golf. I've had a few services done at the spa...

Very nice resort with lots to do. Spa services are top-notch. Snack bar by the golf clubhouse was staffed by Cory the morning we were there. He made us the best egg and cheese croissant and was so friendly! He offered lots of travel tips for the surrounding areas. Our room was very nice, clean, large and had a comfy...

My husband I purchased the Great Escape Golf Package. 5 days of unlimited golf and 5 night stay in the main lodge. Golf courses are in great condition! The lodge room was great, clean and comfortable bed. Service from the staff was excellent! The package included breakfast and dinner. Food was awesome, especially the breakfast buffet. I had my first...

The first obstacle was that the road (Pleasantville, I believe) was closed for construction. GPS got us there eventually. The funky rustic lamps and old lady wallpaper decor was equally matched by a funky, dingy smell. The room also suffered from a lack of overhead lighting. I could either keep open the drapes and let the whole world in with the...

We enjoyed a relaxing 4th of July weekend at the Highlands. The resort was busy but it never felt hectic or over-crowded. Stayed in Heather Highlands which is adjacent to the Main Lodge. The room had a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, and was stocked with dishes and silverware. In addition, there was a sitting area, bedroom, murphy-bed, sleeper-sofa, and...

A bit pricey. The Heather at a premium was a disappointment. Our Ross cabin was not a four bedroom like the year before. Played the Quarry and the Links at Bay Harbor. This was worth the extra cost, but not the Preserve. Our last round was the Arthur Hill but was rained out. The course was closed, but no rainchecks!...

Stayed in the main lodge which was an excellent, comfortable room complete with separate sitting area and fridge. It overlooked the pool and pond and really, couldn't have been better! Another nice part was the convenience to the Little Traverse Wheelway biking trail. Again - perfect!

There were 8 of us on an annual golf buddies trip. We played courses on the property and off. Every where we went the staff was efficient, super friendly and helpful. Although facing wet conditions, the courses were in good shape and fun to play including the real grass mini golf course. The house was wonderful with good beds for...

This was a 4-day 'Stay & Play' Golf weekend. Check-in was efficient. Room included 2 queens --not much extra room but OK. Beds & pillows were wonderful ! Buffet breakfast was outstanding --magnificent fresh fruit, hot entrees and a "make-to-order" egg/omelette/waffle station. Most staff were very friendly. 4 Golf courses on the resort -- others nearby -- efficiently run and...
