My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night while travelling through Michigan and we were very pleased with our stay here. I called around 1:30 the day of our check in (which isn't supposed to be until four) but we were in town early and were seeing if we could get into our room and it was ready and...

While Sally, the manager, tried to make our stay comfortable, the owner launched into a noisy project hammering over our heads until we got out of bed at 10:30 to ask her to stop. Very insensitive to guests. Overall it is rather run down and filled with lumpy furniture and tired linens. The oven in the master suite was filthy....

The ladies above came for a night in our Master Suite. They exclaimed when they arrived they loved it, and I met them and gave them directions to the nearby antique shops. Sally the manager said they were "ready to move in" i.e. they really liked it. I was staying in the main lodge, by myself, and there not to...

We felt that this place had seen better days. It is very gloomy and dark.Odd setup with half the doors in the house opening directly into people's rooms. Dont recommend

Most of our guests do not feel the lodge is gloomy and dark. It is the original wood tongue and groove pine paneling, and like the other cottages in the area, it is what a cottage is supposed to be like, cozy, warm, nostalgic. It is very clean, and the rooms are exactly as pictured configured as they have been...

The lodge accommodated 45 guests perfectly. We were able to cook, congregate, walk to the lake and downtown. Everyone that stayed loved the lodge and Grand Haven! Sally was very easy to work with and made sure all of our needs were met. Thank you again for providing a place to make our wedding and stay so perfect for all...

Recently reserved the entire Khardomah Lodge for my daughter's wedding reception. Since we had family members coming from several states we wanted everyone in one spot. The Lodge turned out to be the perfect setting. The lodge is so unique! A beautiful quiet peaceful setting just up the road from Lake Michigan, set in the woods. Guests were able to...

We rented the entire lodge and suites for the weekend for our daughter's wedding. We sat around the fireplace, cooked our own meals, and walked on the beach and in the woods. It felt like going back to Grandma's house (with lots of places to gather) and the two families shared days together instead of an hour or two in...

Myself and a large group of friends heard about the Khardomah Lodge through a friend who had previously vacationed there. I decided to do a little research and after looking at pictures of the Lodge, its location (on a quiet street with massive trees hiding it....and about a five minute walk to the beach) and realizing the growing size of...

My wife and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here in Grand Haven and really enjoyed our relaxing stay. We had been to the K.L. 7 years before. It was ironic that we were placed in the same room as before without even being asked, which was nice to rekindle good memories. We look forward to coming again. Thanks Sally &...

We stayed for one night at Khardomah as a sort-of last minute getaway (booked the week before). Although we showed up a bit early we were able to get right into our room, which was the hot tub suite. Jack, one of the managers, was very friendly and helpful, and was eager to give us a tour of the whole...

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Lodge. We were only there for just a night, but what a great place to relax and enjoy. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We plan on staying again, this time a little longer.
