Detailed Reviews
Awesome place! Rooms are recently updated and look beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable beds and many pillows to choose from. Exceptional service at check in. You park right outside your own front door. Very affordable ($80). We travelA LOT and we’re skeptical about what we’d get for $80/night but we’re pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room and saw the new carpet and tile, new furniture and modern decor. The A/ C was cold. Great place to stay! Located between Bronner’s and Heritage park. Plenty of free parking. Easy drive to Dead Creek Saloon for dinner.

Such a nice little place. Very clean and modernized rooms. The outside fitting with the Bavarian theme of the town.
The stay was nice and quiet, providing a restorative rest.
Breakfast is in the office area and includes yogurt, toast, bagels and juice, tea or coffee.
Honestly impressed with this motel, the price is great, the location is perfect for being close to town, yet also tucked away just enough for it to be very quiet and still.
I look forward to staying again soon in the warmer months.

Frankenmuth Motel is the cleanest motel I've been to. I was very impressed. I had to find a plug for my phone charger, flashed my phone light behind the bed, and it was spotless. Check in took all of 2 minutes, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly, and provided great dinner recommendations. I would stay there again.

We were supposed to stay at the Bavarian Inn when attending a local event, but found that the Frankenmuth Motel was MUCH nicer! Easy parking directly in front of our room, so we were able to unload directly into our room - unlike the Bavarian Inn , which would have mean a lot of shlepping and elevators).
It was totally quiet and peaceful. We especially appreciated the lovely privacy curtain, which could be pulled across so that the sink and bathroom area was private.
Would happily stay there again anytime.

We were looking for a simple and clean place to stay after a day of fun in Frankenmuth. In the past, we have stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge, but we weren't looking for something that elaborate or pricy. Much research led us to the Frankenmuth Motel, and we are glad it did!
The location is off the busy main drag of Frankenmuth, but it is still close to attractions such as the River Place Shops and Bronners. The motel has a nostalgic feel to it, and that is a huge part of its charm. The room was spacious, the beds extraordinarily comfortable, and there were plenty of modern touches throughout. It was very quiet, which was a nice change of pace from larger hotels with slamming doors or loud talking in the hallway.
The Frankenmuth Motel served our needs perfectly and did so at an extremely affordable price--particularly in a tourist town where marked up prices are the norm. We will definitely return in the future.

Sadly this review is for a stay in the Frankenmuth Motel that will NOT happen because half a day before our departure a lady from the motel called to say the reservation had to be cancelled due to maintenance issues with a water heater. What?! No alternatives were provided—not another room or date or attempt to help us find other lodging. So we now have nowhere to stay for the Christmastime 2022 vacation we were so excited to take. And the lady who called could care less; completely nonchalant. We selected this location because it was central to places we wanted to see and also pet-friendly. Obviously wasn’t a good choice.

We stopped in Frankenmuth on our way back to Detroit after a tour of Route 23 and Lake Huron and the Traverse City area. The lady who checked us in was just as sweet and nice as she could be and started our stay on a very positive note. The location is great, not far from the Oom Pah Pah bands downtown and around the corner from Bronners. Our room was very clean and nice sized, complete with a mini fridge and microwave. You can even 'porch it' if you like with lawn chairs in front of your room. It is a motel with a little age, but overall, it is a great value.

Our stay at Frankenmuth Motel was superb! Our spacious room was immaculately clean and had comfortable beds. Amenities include soap, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, iron & board, microwave and mini fridge. We had plenty of towels. Alyssa, who is friendly and helpful, checked us in and was with us each morning for the continental breakfast, which was a great start to the day. Our family didn't want fancy water parks, people talking loudly while walking through the halls, elevators dinging, and a steep room rate. We simply wanted a clean room and comfortable beds for a great night's sleep, which is exactly what we got! Thank you for a pleasant stay. We hope to be back. (One word of warning: Frankenmuth Motel is close to Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. Even if you lost your car keys, you could still just walk there and easily spend $$$. ha-ha.)

We just wanted to let you know that
Frankenmuth Motel is the best!! We
stayed there during the Bavarian
Festival and we were pleasantly
surprised with our room.
Our room was clean. It had a lot of
amenities that you don't find often
in other motels, such as an iron and
ironing board, soap dispenser,
refrigerator, microwave, and free wifi. The bathroom has a soap dispenser and shampoo dispenser. They even have a great continental breakfast.
We came in late, but they were very
accommodating. to us and we got
a great tip to,get a pizza at the
Lazy Dog Pizzeria. before they closed.
The motel even has menus for the
Bavarian Inn. All in all we were
impressed with our stay.
If you're ever in the area, we suggest a trip to Frankenmuth Cheese Haus,
a Bratwurst Sandwich with the Works
at Willie's, and stay at the Frankenmuth Motel. The price is
very reasonable.

The Frankenmuth Motel was a fantastic place to stay! This family owned, well-loved, well taken care of property was off the main street so was very quiet, but still within walking distance to everything! It was very clean, beds were extremely comfortable, and everyone was so friendly, polite, and professional! We will definitely stay there again!
