The Frankenmuth Motel is AAA approved and locally owned and operated. The Motel is one street off of Main street, just 2 blocks North of Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. We are situated between Michigan's Own Military and Space Museum and Zeilinger Wool Company. The Motel has 53 ground floor rooms and (following State Law) we are all non-smoking. The Motel does have a outdoor smoking area. We also have a limited number of pet rooms with a small cleaning fee. Coffee is available in our office/front desk area during office hours and a cold continental breakfast is available every morning. We may not be located on Main Street but we are only about 5 blocks from most Festivals and the RiverPlace Shops. We are only 8 blocks from Bavarian Inn and Zehnder's Restaurants downtown and all of Main Street has Free Parking. Within walking Distance of Zehnder's Splash Village.

We were looking for a simple and clean place to stay after a day of fun in Frankenmuth. In the past, we have stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge, but we weren't looking for something that elaborate or pricy. Much research led us to the Frankenmuth Motel, and we are glad it did!

The location is off the busy main drag of Frankenmuth, but it is still close to attractions such as the River Place Shops and Bronners. The motel has a nostalgic feel to it, and that is a huge part of its charm. The room was spacious, the beds extraordinarily comfortable, and there were plenty of modern touches throughout. It was very quiet, which was a nice change of pace from larger hotels with slamming doors or loud talking in the hallway.

The Frankenmuth Motel served our needs perfectly and did so at an extremely affordable price--particularly in a tourist town where marked up prices are the norm. We will definitely return in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. It was a great little hotel for the price. The rooms were spacious. There was a table with 2 chairs, which was great since we had to eat dinner in the hotel each night due to establishments being carry out and delivery only. It is located off the main road, but, within walkinh distance to River Place Shoppes, Bronner's and the Military Heroes Museum. I highly recommend this place!

I have been staying at the Frankenmuth Motel for years now and consider it to be the best in Frankenmuth. Not only for the affordability but the quietness. When I walked in the room my son noticed the changes made as to where the TV was moved and the great looking carpeting. The one thing that was missing from the room which I as a senior need a bit more was the easy chair with ottoman. I had a hard time relaxing at time without being able to sit on something that soft Aside from this I will be staying there again near the end of October and look forward to another great stay.

The room could use a little update as there was a stale smell, but overall we were very happy with our experience. The location was perfect for all the sites we wanted to visit and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was a little disappointing, but no reason for not coming again. I loved being able to park outside my room too.

Frankenmuth Motel had a long room for us with 2 double beds AND a twin bed. This is the only room we have ever stayed in that had this. Other hotels, get a clue. Traveling with our children, who are now teen and adult, is always a challenge. This made it easier. And the bathroom? Our door opened OUTWARD, meaning no scraping knees on the door while sitting on the toilet. The sink area had a long counter with ample room on both sides, which meant everyone had a place for their toiletries. The fridge was taller than most hotel fridges; this is important to us because we travel with a cooler due to dietary needs. The breakfast was decent. The price was excellent. If you're looking for a good basic spot to spend the night in Frankenmuth, don't think twice, book here.
P.S. Not all the rooms had the extra twin bed and the reconfigured bathroom door, so make sure that you ask if that's what you need.
P.P.S. We got a coupon for Bronner's Christmas store here too. So of course we had to get some Christmas in August.

Stopped in after a long drive & pleasantly surprised as to what I received.
Everything you can ask for in your room is well placed, convenient, neat, spotless & cozy comfortable. The decor was lovely, bed was perfect, service was first class & quiet, peaceful & had every amenity for travelers. Enjoyed a small but adequate continental breakfast with hot coffee in your room as well. Able to park in front of your door which is always helpful. The standard is set for a well run, well thought out business giving guests a perfect stay at a very fair price. I would not change a thing. Will return when in the area & learned that they have a few pet rooms for the furry family & accommodate large groups as needed. This establishment is a gem & accessible to the town to all the shopping & fun. Thanks for a perfect stay!

We were supposed to stay at the Bavarian Inn when attending a local event, but found that the Frankenmuth Motel was MUCH nicer! Easy parking directly in front of our room, so we were able to unload directly into our room - unlike the Bavarian Inn , which would have mean a lot of shlepping and elevators).

It was totally quiet and peaceful. We especially appreciated the lovely privacy curtain, which could be pulled across so that the sink and bathroom area was private.

Would happily stay there again anytime.

What a wonderful motel!!! If you are just looking for an inexpensive, quiet, clean, comfortable beds, and well taken care of place to lay your head .. this is it!! This place was a total surprise! AND they had a small breakfast available too!!!

Word of caution: book directly with this motel! Do not use third party apps!! I was charged $80+ tax ($90 total) for a Wednesday night stay through Hotels.com. When I checked in, the very kind front office woman showed me their normal rate is $66.95!!!! When you’re on a tight budget that is a big difference!

So don’t let this Motel fall off your radar!! You won’t be disappointed! Close to everything in Frankenmuth too, walk and/or drive!

Awesome place! Rooms are recently updated and look beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable beds and many pillows to choose from. Exceptional service at check in. You park right outside your own front door. Very affordable ($80). We travelA LOT and we’re skeptical about what we’d get for $80/night but we’re pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room and saw the new carpet and tile, new furniture and modern decor. The A/ C was cold. Great place to stay! Located between Bronner’s and Heritage park. Plenty of free parking. Easy drive to Dead Creek Saloon for dinner.
