This was my first visit to Frankenmuth, and my first trip ever with my lady, and the Frankenmuth motel helped to make it all a fantastic trip. From the start the service was great, we came in much later than expected (almost midnight!) and instead of saying sorry you missed check in or blowing us off, the wonderful woman at the front desk waited up for us to arrive and stayed in contact via text and phone calls the whole trip up. Check in was painless, the room was clean, and you could set your frequency for cleaning as well. The staff were kind and easy to work with, and checkout was as simple as turning things in and heading out. The prices were also unbeatable not just for Frankenmuth, but that whole little area of Michigan. We went in March so likely an off season, but $80 or so a night for a quality stay was well worth it. The location is also perfect, it’s just off of the main downtown area to avoid the crowds that seem to explode on the weekends, but so close you could walk for 10-15 minutes and be there or drive there in about 5. It also is great for those like myself who can’t sit still and have some night owl tendencies, so we were all over Michigan and even coming in at 1 am you feel safe, and getting into the room is as simple as parking and walking in. My only personal issue (which I won’t dock a star for, more just to be informative) was the beds are certainly firm mattresses, which the lady loved, but if you’re like me and a fan of/used to more soft broken down type beds, it can be a tough first one or two nights of sleep. All that said, we plan to come again this year to MI, and will definitely stay here again.

The Frankenmuth Motel offers a fantastic stay at a great price! Plenty of parking, rooms are very clean, and minutes from downtown Frankenmuth. Two chairs in the room for sitting, bathtub low enough to get in and out, and shampoo and soap dispensers in the tub area. Breakfast was very adequate-apple fritters, bagels, fruit, juice., etc. Local information was available, took advantage of an ad for a downtown sausage shop with a $5. deal for brat, chips, and drink. We were also given a free ornament deal which we used at Bronners, also visited at night with Christmas lights which motel recommended. Would definitely stay again with such a friendly staff!

We enjoy staying here when we come to Frankenmuth, only partly because it is budget friendly compared to other locations in town. Front desk staff are courteous and efficient. Parking our car right outside the room is a plus, making it easy to load and unload not only our luggage but also our shopping finds. Our room had been completely remodeled and updated since the last time we were here, very nice and quiet, and, importantly, spotless, too! Hubby was quite happy to find we had all the same DirecTV channels we have at home. The free continental breakfast was somewhat limited but completely adequate for our needs. The Christmas store is conveniently near; but downtown is a little farther than we would walk, so fortunately there is ample parking in town and it’s a short, easy drive. The free WIFI was inconsistently available, but was satisfactory when it was up.

We have stayed at the Frankenmuth Motel every year for the last five years. The motel has not slipped as far as quality and cleanliness. The water is always hot and the rooms are spotless. You can pay 3x the room rate to stay at the "name brand" hotels but you won't get a better experience than the family owned Frankenmuth Motel.
I've never been disappointed in the five years we have been staying at the motel and count on the more personalized attention we receive here.

The rooms were very clean, and comfortable. We were able to adjust the heat or cooling system to fit our comfort level. We had adequate towels, and wash cloths for the amount of time for our stay. There is a refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap available in the room. Ice machines are conveniently located along with a pop machine. The continental breakfast is very good, bagels, yogurt, and juice. For the price we paid, we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are modest and very clean, with all of the visitors basic needs being accommodated. The motel is in a quiet area with close access to Frankenmuth's varying attractions. The prices are more than reasonable, with free WI-FI and a quaint breakfast set-up in the lobby.

Just stayed one night but was very impressed. A beautiful friendly young woman checked us in- we were early but the room was ready. Convenient parking right outside the rooms. There was a picnic table in the yard. In room coffee, microwave and fridge, nice carpeting, soft towels and hot water- bang zoom! The AC was older but was fine. The bedding smelled fresh and a breakfast was included. I loved the blooming hydrangeas in the grounds. It was a nice touch that there was a menu of church services posted in the reception area. The hotel was adjacent to a military museum, healthy looking corn field, and a high end car lit that we enjoyed looking at. It was a great location and walking distance to most attractions, weather cooperating! It was very hot when we were there so I had to drive.

Frankenmuth Motel had a long room for us with 2 double beds AND a twin bed. This is the only room we have ever stayed in that had this. Other hotels, get a clue. Traveling with our children, who are now teen and adult, is always a challenge. This made it easier. And the bathroom? Our door opened OUTWARD, meaning no scraping knees on the door while sitting on the toilet. The sink area had a long counter with ample room on both sides, which meant everyone had a place for their toiletries. The fridge was taller than most hotel fridges; this is important to us because we travel with a cooler due to dietary needs. The breakfast was decent. The price was excellent. If you're looking for a good basic spot to spend the night in Frankenmuth, don't think twice, book here.
P.S. Not all the rooms had the extra twin bed and the reconfigured bathroom door, so make sure that you ask if that's what you need.
P.P.S. We got a coupon for Bronner's Christmas store here too. So of course we had to get some Christmas in August.

Classic style old fashion motel setting where the rooms have been upgraded and modernized. Rooms have mini fridge, TV service with multiple channel service, bathrooms have new vanity countertops, new sink, new faucets. Carpeting is clean, beds are comfortable with 4 pillows: 2 soft and 2 hard. Each room has outdoor access to walkway with a chair where you can sit to enjoy the outdoors right outside your room or walk to the picnic table. Park right in front of your room. Even a horseshoe pit for fun. Continental breakfast with coffee for the day. There are newer places in town to stay but you spend much more just to do so. This is well worth it to stay here.

Awesome place! Rooms are recently updated and look beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable beds and many pillows to choose from. Exceptional service at check in. You park right outside your own front door. Very affordable ($80). We travelA LOT and we’re skeptical about what we’d get for $80/night but we’re pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room and saw the new carpet and tile, new furniture and modern decor. The A/ C was cold. Great place to stay! Located between Bronner’s and Heritage park. Plenty of free parking. Easy drive to Dead Creek Saloon for dinner.

Yes. They have a limited amount of pet friendly rooms. Fee is $10.00 USD per night. You have to call the hotel directly to book a pet friendly room to make sure it's available as there is a demand for them and also they need to be aware. You cannot book a pet friendly room online ie with expedia, etc. Only directly with motel
