The staff is very friendly, typical hotel breakfast, but I love the rooms. Ive stayed in a couple other hotels in town and they were in bad need of upgrades but I’ve stayed here twice and all the rooms have couches, and not dingy ones like other hotels I’ve stayed at, they look new. Even the hallway carpet looked new. The rooms were quiet and the location can’t be beat as everything in town is within walking distance from the hotel.

We spent 1 night at Springhill Suites for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. We were checked in right away, friendly and welcoming service upon arrival. Room was very nice, there was a sitting area with a couch and desk when you first walk in and then in other room is the beds and bathroom. Nice size bathroom and bath. The only issue we had was when we went by the window, we noticed little flying bugs or small beetles were in the outside of the shade, but in our room. Someone had left the window open, I guess and the screen was broken allowing the bugs to enter. There were at least 5-8 bugs on the screen in our room, it was pretty gross. We were not going to stay in that room with bugs so we immediately went downstairs and they were gracious and apologetic and immediately gave us another room. In our new room, there were a few bugs on the outside window, but the window was closed, so we didn't open the window and just closed the curtains. I only think this happened because of the season and the trees on that side of the hotel. Screens really need to be fixed in the rooms. Other than that, a very nice quiet stay, it was a Thursday, so not much noise. Beds were comfortable and it was a nice size room. Housekeeping needs to check body wash and shampoo bottles as ours was low and couldn't really get any soap/body wash out of bottle. Complimentary breakfast, needs more selections, sausage was underdone. Just a small variety of fruit and bagels. A little more variety would be nice. They need to have more tables for a party of 2 rather than a bunch of tables pushed together, especially during this Covid time. Not much seating for 2 people. Need to expand their dining area a bit. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice and clean. Overall, a very nice stay and would recommend the hotel to others. Would definitely stay here again.

We cooked this hotel while traveling to Frankenmuth and were not disappointed. The hotel room was very clean and the bed were comfortable. Having the sink separate from the tub and toilet is always a convenience when getting ready to go out or check out. The hotel staff were very friendly and parking was ample for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was okay - nothing special, but nice to have if you need to leave early. I would return to this hotel.

I travel for work and vacation a lot. My family and I went to Frankenmuth for a 3 day get away and stayed at SpringHill Suites. Of the many hotels that I have stayed at, this one was easily the worst. The hotel is dated and dirty. The stairwells smell like urine or pot. The service was horrible. The toilet back up every time we used it, every time, not just for number 2. We arrived around 9pm and called the front desk when the toilet first backed up. They said they would send someone up right away. After another hour we called again and they said the maintenance guy comes in at 6am and offered a plunger. The next day when we came back from sight- seeing, they told us the maintenance guy fixed the toilet. He didn't and we asked for the plunger again. We had to request to be put on the cleaning list. When we complained about the poor quality of the cleaning, they said that we weren't on the list and they cleaned anyway, like they did us a favor. Cleaning the room consisted of pulling up the bed sheets and emptying one of the trash cans. The quality of the breakfast was ok but the staff looked like they just rolled out of bed. It didn't matter if people were in line, when it was time to close, they took stuff away. When we complained about the horrible service upon checking out, the lady said there is nothing she can do because we booked through a third party. So I am writing this review to let others know about this hotel.

I recognize your time is valuable and appreciate the feedback you have taken the time to provide. Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is important and I apologize that we did not fulfill that expectation during your visit. I have shared your feedback with our housekeeping leaders and associates to ensure this is an isolated incident in the guestrooms. The breakfast room area has also been addressed. My hope is the next time you are in the area, you will give us another chance to provide the guest experience we strive to deliver.

There's only 2 good things about this Springhill Suites. Number 1 is location, you can walk to everyplace you want to go because it's centrally located on Main Street. Number 2 is Allison the front desk clerk, she was pleasant, polite, accommodating and helpful. After checking in and taking elevator to 3rd floor we were concerned if we were going to make it. The thing creaked, popped, jerked and made awful noises. According to reviews that I read back to 2018 there's been several breakdowns and issues with this elevator. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the conversation word for word from guests in the next rooms. There's big open gaps around the door which allows the hall lights to shine through. We heard the boom of the doors slamming constantly all day and most of the night. The tension is set so slightly that the doors slam with a vengeance. There was a party next door one night and the next day the hall smelled of marijuana. We along with some other guests asked that a deodorizer be sprayed. The rooms are very outdated and in need of some upgrading! The morning (free) breakfast is very minimal. Eggs, sausage and oatmeal were all cold, the coffee was hot which was a plus! And the rates are not consistent, it went from $110 to $234. If I had read the reviews before I booked I would of chosen a different hotel. I suggest if you want a good night's rest, choose a different hotel.

We stayed at Springhill Suites June 24 & 25th. It’s been about 10 years since I stayed here and the hotel lacks some serious attention.
Bathroom is outdated to the point the tub porcelain is gone.
Furniture is cheaply made foux wood from 80’s
Very Dark rooms.
Breakfast was cut short on Sunday ran out of coffee / food.
It’s pretty clear this hotel is probably a franchise and not run by Marriott. You can see all the deferred maintenance taking it’s tole on the hotel.
Too bad because it’s got great location to everything in Frankenmuth. Glad I had 2 free nights - I’d be upset if I’d spent over $500 for this weekend stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not have an enjoyable stay with us. We will definitely make sure to tell our maintenance team about your bathtub. We don't have control over the furniture or lighting in the room as all room design and furnishings come from Marriott. We are very sorry for our supply issues over the weekend and once again have a fully stocked breakfast. Thank you again for showing us how we can improve.

The SpringHill Suites Frankenmuth is conveniently located close to the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, they doesn’t seem to put much effort into service. Because they are in Frankenmuth, business is good regardless of issues.
There never was a cart available to take luggage to and from the room for the entire time our our stay. The front desk said they had not been returned.
There were multiple small issues with the room. The tub barely drained so the water rose quite high. There was a burnt out light at the entrance to the room making the low light level even worse. The bottom sheet on the bed did not fit well and would not stay on the mattress.
The breakfast selection was very sparse. The only dry cereals were sweetened and the oatmeal was not replenished during the last hour of breakfast.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately when people grab the luggage carts and leave them in the room there is not a lot we can do here at the hotel to make them available. We have shared your maintenance issues with our team and will be sure to fix the issues with the tub and the lighting. We always have unsweetened Cheerios available for breakfast, I apologize that you were not able to get those. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us

Stayed last night for quick overnight getaway with hubby. Wasn't sure what to expect during these trying times, but overall was pleased with our stay.
Hotel (and entire area in general) was operating with limited guests. Was an amazing time since it was a beautiful day and so few people.
Check in was fast and efficient and they had a room ready for us earlier than normal check in time. Front desk was very friendly.
Room was cleaned very well and had no worries at all. I will say as an added precaution I used my own Lysol and sprayed contact points and surfaces for added piece of mind.
King bed, large sofa, desk area, little nook with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The fridge was nice to store all the food items we bought in town to take home and to keep a few drinks cold.
Pool and hot tub are currently closed and no hot breakfast. They did have what they are calling grab and go which was juice and coffee along with bagels and muffins - very limited.
Price was much lower than normal this offsets the ammentities that are not currently available.
Good solid choice to stay in while in the area.

I spent a long weekend in Frankenmuth with friends and we stayed in the SpringHill Suites. The lobby was pretty and inviting, with plenty of seating for the free morning breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds comfy. The selection of items for the free breakfast was quite good, not every hotel offers things like oatmeal or waffles, this hotel offered both!
The best aspect of the hotel, however, is it's location. It is right in the middle of the main drag of Frankenmuth, every place you might want to go there is an easy walk. Leave your car in the parking lot and enjoy Frankenmuth on foot!
All in all, I would highly recommend the SpringHill Suites for a stay in Frankenmuth. It's top-notch accomodations, plus it's can't-be-beat location, make it the best choice!

I love this little town. I did something I've never done, I had a spa afternoon at Serendipity Spa! Incredible choice. Cheaper on weekdays than Fri-Sat.
The Bronners Store was NOT overrated. Need 4 hours, best to break it into 2 hours on 2 different days and ask for a catalog after the first visit so you can plan your purchases and not just go wild. They will ship for free if over $100 purchases (to the same address).
I really liked the History Museum. It took 45 min. ($5 for adults) I would recommend going there first of all to understand the story of this vibrant community.
Food: My favorite was Crepe du Jour, Honey Bee, Wang's Deli.
You can't miss spending a few days in Frankenmuth.
