We stayed here thinking it would be nice. The room ok, no complaints on the room. But the parking lot was not plowed. It was pretty bad getting out with our luggage in the snow. Also we didn’t even get a email thanking us for our stay or asking how are stay was. We Won’t be back.

I arrived at this property in August for a stay. I have stayed at this hotel maybe 20 times over the years having grown up there and now traveling back for visits. This time however was for business. I was checked in by a very pleasant young lady at the front desk. She was very nice and professional. When I left the front desk and started to the elevators, I noticed that the lobby floor was not the cleanest but really not a worry. When I got to the elevators they were dirty. The outside of the elevator looked like it had not been wiped down for the greasy finger prints of construction workers in months. The inside of the elevator was worse. Dirty is the best way to describe this. When I got off the elevator, the floor smelled musty and damp. I continued to the room thinking it is only going to get better but boy was I wrong. The room smelled like mildew. My feet were sticking to the carpet (humidity). The room was disgusting, the desk was falling off the wall. I turned around and left. I went to the front desk and told them I am leaving and told them why. The girl at the front desk told me she was very sorry and would take care of everything. I did not even receive a receipt. I am now looking at my expense report and they charged my card anyway. I just called the hotel and they stated that they charged me a cancellation fee which was actually higher than my bill would have been. I would certainly understand being charged cancellation fee had I actually cancelled. I walked out because their housekeeping did not do their jobs. Find another hotel, they just built a nice Hyatt Place down the road. Stay there.

I grew up in this area and was a bit shocked to see the place now. I understand covid has taken its toll on everything. However, there is just no excuse for outdoor filth we encountered coming and going from this location. I guess once things get old we just don't bother with them.

The lobby area is very nice. We requested an Executive King room which had a sofa and a little extra room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed-fridge, big flat screen tv and coffee maker. Paris and Maria at the front desk were wonderful in welcoming us and providing information. Paris and Maria represent excellence in this brand

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant was not as it was advertised. Even when you call directly, the recording talks about fresh cut steaks and there aren't even steaks on the menu. We checked in Friday night so that I could leave for an early flight. First we had to walk through cigarette and cigar smoke in order to enter the building. They had a Corvette club staying and they were allowing them to smoke right outside the front door. The entire hotel and room is in desperate need of updating. There were 2X4s under each of the beds. The carpet had not been vacuumed because we found plastic clothing tags on the floor. We also found a dirty wash rag hung over the shower rod. I mentioned these things at check-out and was told that he wasn't surprised because good help is really hard to find. He then handed my the wrong receipt and I now have the personal information of someone in the Trend Settas Corvette Club. BEWARE! Upon check-in they told me that they charged an additional $100 deposit for incidentals. So I authorized the room rate and the additional $100 to be applied on my card for a total of $259.83. After looking at my credit card statement, I have found a charge for $259.83 and a 2nd charge for $159.83. So I have now been charged $419.66 for a room that isn't even worth $159.83. So I called to see why my credit card had the 2 charges and was told that the $100.00 would automatically fall off. The gentleman could not understand that I was charged twice for the room plus the $100. He even sent me the authorization history thinking that it would help me to understand the charges and it also didn't show where they had refunded the $100, and in fact showed the same 2 charges that my credit card shows. He assures me that I will see a difference in 2-3 days. However, the hotel still tied up $419.66 of my funds when I only authorized them to tie up $259.83. In the credit card business, this is considered fraud.

I did a Google search for this property, to make a reservation. The website found had all appearances of being the Holiday Inn website. Upon check-in, we found out that it was NOT an IHG website that was used to make the reservation. The information contained on this website was outdated when it came to airport shuttle, restaurant onsite, etc. They currently DO NOT have an airport shuttle and they NO LONGER have an onsite restaurant. They are still undergoing renovations, and it appears, are not thoroughly cleaning the rooms. The (newer) tile in the bathroom and entrance to the room were very dirty. The room also appeared to not be finished in the remodel, with hairdryer not mounted on the wall (but sitting in the bracket) and no towel bar or rack and no trash can in bathroom. There was also a weird stack of drawers in the closet area. Just an odd set-up.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Perhaps it was my oversight but did not notice this in the website. The front desk did have the courtesy to call and let us know. The pool was closed whether due to COVID or the remodel I'm not sure. There are no real outdoor areas, the restaurant is closed. We were told we were getting a room away from the construction but our room was coated in drywall dust and chips. It wasn't worth changing rooms at that point. The cost is quite similar to other hotels in the area that are likely not under major renovation. The staff was friendly and took efficient care of us but the construction issues were hard to overlook. The room did have an iron, fridge, microwave, and Keurig so well appointed. When the construction is finished this might be worth a look when deciding where to stay but confirm first.

We sure wish we would have known they were remodeling. Based on the condition of the hotel both inside and out, they should NOT be renting rooms at all. We arrived at 3pm and thought the hotel was closed and we had made a mistake. Weeds over grown, construction debris in the driveway. The lobby is completely torn up. Restaurant and pool closed. We were hopeful that at least our room would be okay, NOT! The elevator looked like a bomb had gone off and the hallway was littered with debris. Our room smelled, the refrigerator was making a terrible noise, curtains wouldn’t close, the smoke detector was unhooked, the sheets on the bed did not fit and we had a hole that looks like a bullet hole. Holiday Inn should be ashamed for keeping this place open during this chaos.

This location is currently undergoing much needed renovations. The hotel is nice and clean but dated so they are fixing that. The common areas have been renovated and look very nice. My room was old but had new, comfortable beds. Very friendly staff and convenient airport shuttle. Not much else too close and nothing really walkable. Good stop for the airport or highway and it looks like they have convention space too. Nice indoor pool and hot tub plus a small fitness area.
