Desk clerk Denisha took care of our check-in this trip. We have been coming from Ohio for more than 14 months for visits with my sick nephew. From the very 1st visit to your hotel, Denisha has went above and beyond to show she cares about our family's crisis, but also about our comfort while there. She offered hug and prayer as well -which tells me her guests are not just another face there. The hotel staff may not all be visible to every guest, but the results of their efforts are visible in the common areas inside and out, as well as in the guest room. It's those little details that show a guest that they are important enough to give us an extra clean and comfortable stay with no detail overlooked if possible. The maintenance and cleanliness helps to make the guest feel comfortable. The beds and rooms are very comfortable for a great night's rest. This is the best hotel in Flint area. They have a well-maintained, updated, excellent staffed facility at the lowest price around. The low price might make you think there's got to be a bad reason for that. But couldn't be further from the truth. We often stay here and go away very satisfied every time. It is always clean and comfortable. This trip Blake welcomed us to the hotel and did an excellent check-in process. We had a King room with a whirlpool and fireplace this trip. But we've stayed in other regular king rooms in the past also. Every room has met our needs fine. The staff there are all friendly and meet beyond our expectations. The breakfast is served at the right temperature, stocked well with a nice variety of choices. The facility has a nice fitness center and nicely maintained swimming pool also. The location is convenient from the freeway and businesses are very close like fast foods and even fuel centers and a Meijer store just across the street also. I stayed here for the first time last weekend (3 nights) along with two friends of mine. I was expecting "average" and was pleasantly surprised by several aspects of my stay. First, the hotel common areas and my room were very clean and definitely appeared to have been recently painted and remodeled. It was also very conveniently located and within easy sight of the highway exit nearby ( MI Route 23). Upon checking in, I and my friends were greeted promptly and in a most welcoming manner and also made aware of the benefits of signing up at that time for The Best Western Rewards Program e.g. 5000 Bonus Points for a stay of 2 consecutive nights or longer after enrolling. My room was nicely furnished and the bathroom area was just large enough not to be "confined". And, probably the best feature offered here was the complementary full breakfast offered over a reasonable three hour time frame of 7-10am on Saturday & Sundays and 6-9am on weekdays. The variety of food and beverage items offered was really quite impressive, e.g. biscuits and sausage gravy, roast beef hash, eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, several kinds of bread for toast, a do-it-yourself waffle maker with condiments/toppings, four kinds of dry cereal dispensers, yogurts, and more. And, the best part besides a nice, comfy seating area that included a wall mounted television was the two super nice and attentive ladies we meet and chatted with who both did a "bang up job" of keeping all the food and drink options well stocked and resupplied. Karen was the breakfast staffer on the two weekend mornings and Diana was on board there for our final breakfast meal on Monday morning before we checked out. Both of these ladies were not only friendly and courteous with the three of us and the other guests present, but they were great in engaging us in conversations while still keeping their eyes peeled on items that needed restocked! They both truly made our stay there even better than we could have expected! Will definitely plan on a return stay at this hotel in my future visit to the Flint, MI area!…

I came in town to visit family for a short time and needed a room. I booked with dominique at the front desk and her customer service was outstanding. She was kind and courteous. She had a bright smile on her face the entire time while assisting me. She was very informative on activities to do in the area, places to eat, and very knowledgeable of the hotel and it’s amenities. Told by an employee they always close the pool because they don’t want to pick up after kids. We complained and it was magically fixed. Pretty bad when employees are told to lie. The rooms smelled of smoke and must.

First, the staff was very helpful, and friendly! I would rate them a 10 for sure! But the hotel it self must be very old, or has not been kept up. There is "grunge" in the corners where the walls meet the floor, the carpet is so old and is such a dark color that it feels "sticky" when you walk on it, there was hair on the toilet and in the shower, and the water controller and faucet in the shower are so corroded and dirty that you can pull them away from the wall with one finger. The shower worked good enough, but just didn't feel clean.
