Jim was such a welcoming and wonderful host! The B&B was absolutely gorgeous and so cozy. We stayed in the tree top room and didn't want to leave! The fire place was the perfect touch, especially since it was snowing the whole time. The gorgeous forest mural was also incredible. We are planning to come back during high season in...

Excellent accommodations with all rooms having a different theme. The breakfasts were second to none, always featuring fruit, a unique greek yogurt with honey and an extremely flavorful granola. The owners are warm, welcoming and supply a wealth of knowledge of the shops and best restaurants to visit in the area

We have visited the area many times with our children, but this was our first to a bed and breakfast as a couple. I don't think we could have asked for anything more. We love the area for the quiet beaches, excellent restaurants, awesome sunsets, and options for hiking, biking, fruit picking, wine tasting, etc. Sherwood Forest is a lovely...

This B&B is about 1000 feet from the lake. Pulling up, it was decorated in Halloween stuff, quite a bit and was very nice. Very clean too, you'll notice as you walk up. Jim greeted right away and had drinks and a map on where to go dinner suggestions. Then up to the room. The tree/forest room. Pretty wildly painted....

Hi Keithrj, Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review on Sherwood Forest. It was a pleasure meeting you and having you with us. Sorry you missed having a tv - we have put much thought and polled many of our guests on this one and our decision was that we believe in this day and age...

The hosts were knowledgeable and very helpful. Unlike the B&B accommodations where daily housekeeping is provide, in the cottage the guests must do the daily housekeeping. In return there are two bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, an a full bath (shower), a half bath, and large living room. These accruements more than offset the daily maid service. Location is...

Stay was nice but average at best. Good location though. First BB we stayed in that did not provide some kind of beverage during the day. Only time coffee was available was at breakfast. That did provide a welcome beverage, but after that you were expected to pay. All the others provided water and or coffee and in most cases...

My husband and I stayed in the Safari Suite over labor day weekend. As soon as we arrived, Noelene sat us down and went over the maps of Douglas and Saugatuck, she pointed out the restaurants, shops, local transportation and anything we needed to know about the area. She was on point with everything but especially about which restaurants we...

This beautiful bed and breakfast is on a quiet, wooded street less than 1/2 mile from the beach. The whole property is lovely and peaceful from the heated pool with chaise lounges and tables with umbrellas to the wrap around porch with plenty of seating. There's always a spot to enjoy a book and a drink. The innkeepers are friendly...

My wife and I have stayed at seven or eight different B&B s in Saugatuck over the years, but never have we had an experience that came close to the sublime time we spent here. It's my understanding that the ownership changed a few years ago, so I don't know whether it's always been of the caliber we experienced, but...
