Perfect in every way. No other Detroit hotel compares. Beautiful historic buildings, professional staff, shuttle service to area venues and restaurants, excellent breakfast in an elegant dining room. Walking distance to the Detroit Institute of Arts. What more can you ask for? Love it here. We choose Inn on Ferry Street every time we stay overnight in Detroit.

I had a wonderful stay at the Inn. Their staff is extraordinarily friendly (special Kudos to Craig) and the location is just perfect. In case you didn’t know: the Inn offers a complimentary shuttle within a 5-mile radius, which gets you probably everywhere you want to go in Detroit. My room was in the neighboring building, another lovely house. It...

I went To Detroit for a residency interview and the program I interviewed for made accommodations for us at this inn. It was a very quaint, clean place. The location was nice and safe, and there were restaurants, a CVS, and a few gas stations within in close proximity. The breakfast they serve is very good. They even leave a...

Nice hotel, felt like a comfy home with a hearty breakfast. Close to the heart of the city. The Inn is a series of houses that have been restored to reflect the original old-fashioned look, yet offers modern amenities. The hotel is close to the waterfront & the Ford Piquette Auto Plant.

In from out of town? Staycation? Looking for a romantic evening? Either way the Inn On Ferry is must when visiting Detroit. We stayed in the Owen house, in the room with a Jacuzzi tub. Most definitely will be back.

My daughter was recently married at the Detroit Institute of Art; the Inn was the perfect place for us all to stay! It is charming, the rooms were all different and lovely, and it offers a wonderful breakfast spread. But just as important were the very congenial and helpful folks that work there- kudos to Stephanie, Brent, and Craig for...

Like most reviewers say, this Inn is excellent! We stayed in the Owen House, true Victorian atmosphere. The parlor was a great area to relax in the evening. The breakfast was excellent. Marie, at the front desk, was so warm and helpful! The shuttle service is unbeatable. We used it 6 times during the weekend and it was flawless. David and...

Our room in the Roehm House was beautifully restored, spacious and comfortable. We were pleased to enjoy a sumptuous healthy breakfast buffet next door at the Scott House .. fun sitting at our table for two in the bay window overlooking charming Ferry Street. The shuttle service to & from the DIA & area restaurants was an extra bonus as...

There are three separate houses and I stayed in Scott. There was a lack of excitement in this one, almost looked as if it was unkept a feeling passing in through past the main entrance lacking warmth. One had to go to the main house for reception and breakfast. Breakfast was superb. The main house felt full of charm which...
