We will be back, the staff was friendly, breakfast was 10 times better then the chain hotels. The berries we fresh and flavorful. Homemade quiche was very good, a nice selection for breakfast. Parking on site was free and the building was beautiful. A great place to stay and only about 8-12 minutes from any place we wanted to go...

The room was small, but so cute & cozy. And the continental breakfast was better than most hotels. They provided a free shuttle to & from the Inn within a 5 mile radius and since it was located just outside of downtown you could get a ride anywhere you might need.

Our friends, my husband and I stayed at the Inn when we were going to Detroit for a concert. The three beautiful Victorian mansions were spectacular! Beautifully restored and appointed, they are a treasure! They are around the corner from the Detroit Institute of Art and close to wonderful restaurants! The breakfast was lovely and the Stickley furniture in the...

We had an overnight stay to see friends in Detroit and liked the Inn at Ferry Street very much. It was exactly as described, a historic, bed-and-breakfast feel in the middle of the city. It's the kind of place could be found in every big city, an alternative to big hotels. The buildings have a genuinely historic feel and are...

Great collection of historic buildings. Friendly service. Breakfast was excellent, and well-stocked. Room was on the small side and had the odd and annoying feature of not having a second bedside table (so book, glasses and water glass had to sit on the floor for my side of the bed), as well as nowhere to put your toilet bags etc...

We rented 2 rooms for our group of 6 for a long weekend in March. The rooms themselves were comfortable and the houses were beautiful. The breakfast was well done. The best thing by far, though, was the location. So close to many museums we wanted to see - DIA, Wright, Historical. Perfect location!

Detroit's Midtown neighborhood is vibrant and getting more so, in no small measure thanks to its anchor, Wayne State University, as well as the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Historical Museum, the central public library, and several other fine museums and places to visit. And the Inn on Ferry Street allows you to take it all in on foot. A...

We stayed overnite on our Greenfield Village trip. We really enjoyed the historical nature of the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area of town where the Inn was located was nice and had a "happening vibe". The room was a bit small and needed a touch of updating. But it was clean enough and quiet. We...

Enjoyed the free shuttle service and yummy breakfast! The room was spacious and well kept and we immediately felt like home when we arrived to the Inn. Every person we interacted with was super friendly and helpful and I wish we could have stayed longer.
