Stayed for a dance convention. Requested a refrigerator and was told one would be brought up. Called later that day and they said it would be brought up however I needed to stay in the room and wait for it. It never came. The next day when I called about it, they were out. Requested extra towels/pillows twice as we...

This property was renovated about a decade ago, but it is aging quickly. The bed was comfy and there was nothing physically wrong with the room, it just has the feel of an old hotel. The bathroom is very small. There are few outlets available for electronics. The TV is an older model and half the stations are fuzzy analog....

Hello and thank you very much for taking the time to post. We apologize for your disappointment, however to be very honest we are a bit confused by your post as our entire hotel was just remodeled as part of a massive $30M renovation. We aren't sure when, exactly, your stay was, however all guest rooms, event space, our concierge...

Can't pick a better hotel to stay at if you seek close proximity to all that Detroit has to offer. But good Lord, is it expensive. If you want to be close to the action, this is the place. Staff is great, bar is adequate, views from the rooms are outstanding.

Stayed at the hotel during Auto Show. I was really impressed by the renovations. The rooms are attractive and functional. The views, especially above the 40th floor are really fantastic. I really liked the fact that I was able to take the people mover to Cobo Center as it was a bit cold outside. I sampled food in Volt and...

I stayed at the Marriott overnight as part of a large convention. I was treated quickly upon arrival by the valet, the reception staff was very pleasant, questions of staff in the hallways were handled quickly and efficiently, my room was on the 54th floor overlooking the river, my bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. I had...

Trying to support the turn around in Downtown Detroit I thought I would stay at the Marriott there since I am a loyal Marriott Customer. I should've known better. They checked me out when they shouldn't have and then I had to wait about an hour in the lobby while the slow as heck staff checked people in. To make...

We were able to park and take the people mover every where which was nice. We stayed on a Friday night and found mist places inside the center closed for the weekend which was disappointing. Our room was on floor 47 beautiful view. Biggest complaint was the room was either sweltering is freezing. Impossible to adjust the temp.

I've stayed here several times…facilities are nice, clean and staff is nice. Rooms are a bit small (maybe bigger on "upper-level"??) but really was not a big deal since I was working the whole time! One word of advice…be careful and set your cell phone to "No Roaming." Being so close to Canada, you may pick up a Rogers cell...

You are correct, that particular carriers will question your location as we are so close to the Canadien border. Thank you once again. We hope to see you again soon.

The room was nice and comfortable but really small and not worth the heafty price tag.
