Awful, would be an understatement of what we went through our stay. Once we arrived at the hotel from our drive from cleveland, I was excited because of how great this location was. It was on the river, close to downtown and within our budget....More
We enjoyed our stay, staff were pleasant and helpful in suggesting restaurants for dinner. Our room was very spacious with high ceilings. The location is great. I suggest you request a room overlooking the waterfront. Nearby walks were very pleasant. We are planning another visit...More

My husband and I booked a three night stay here. I would give this hotel a ZERO, but I had to give at least one star to give a review. The website pictures are deceiving as far as the inside of the hotel. Once you...More

Cleanliness is not a concern. When Deb and I stayed there in April this year we were impressed with the furnishings, décor and overall cleanliness of our room. We discovered that we didn't have bath towels and that was immediately remedied by housekeeping with a call to the front desk. Our stay was enjoyable and would stay there again if we ever had a reason to be in Detroit overnight in the future.

We stayed there and had no problems of any major kind. This is not a 4-star hotel where you have valet parking or huge fancy modern room. The Riverside rooms have a great View and the rooms are huge. There are definitely areas where they can upgrade but I don't think that hurts the quality of this day. We would definitely stay there again don't let the reviews scare you off
