Midwest Media Expo, an event that I and thousands others were planning to attend for over a year, was going to be held at this location. Hundreds of people had booked reservations and were flying from out-of-state. Three days before the event was to be held, this terrible venue canceled the event!!

This hotel decided to violate their contract and cancel a major convention 3 days prior to the event with no warning or explanation, inconveniencing thousands of people and making it impossible for the convention organisers to find another location. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional hotel management before and will not be staying here again.

It is very obvious they don't care about their guests. We were traveling there for an event and the new "management" decided to cancel the event 3 days before. Horrible decision. I'm now losing money because they can't manage their business.

Cancels contracts without due cause shortly before events. Midwest medio expo was suppose to go but The Edward cancelled it. No explanation. Very uncooperative. No notice. It is really sad. Looked forward to going.

I have to say overall my stay was pleasant. The biggest issue i encountered was the lack of electrical outlets in the main area of the room. The bathroom fixtures could use a facelift especially the shower. As for hotel staff, they were very pleasant and extremely accommodating. great customer service!

Edward Village Hotel is the former Royal Dearborn Hotel & Convention Center which is the former Hyatt Regency Dearborn. There's a reason it's changed hands so many times - it's old and poorly maintained. I checked into a room and it was 74 degrees. I put the air conditioning on and in 15 minutes nothing had changed. They sent an...

This hotel was originally a Hyatt, then something else and now this Edward hotel. Rumor has it that it's in bankruptcy once again. I was there for a dance convention and I can't imagine why this dance convention company keeps booking this hotel with so many great properties within a 30 minute drive. Very dirty, worn two of our parents...

We were there for a long weekend for a dance competition. Hotel is ok but the trash cans were overflowing with trash laying all around them. The parking lot was the same way every trash can was overflowing. Our room was nice and clean, the pool area was nice. Pool area could definitely use some more tables n chairs to...

This was a very comfortable hotel. The room we had had a nice view of the city. The restaurant was comfortable for breakfast but I would look else where to eat dinner. The check in was smooth and the amenities were nice. There is a small convenience shop in the lobby that sells candy, sandwiches, yoghurts and soft drinks.

I just checked in to the Edward Village Hotel in Dearborn and boy did they put lipstick on this pig in the online photos. First off the hotel entry is not in any sense of the word inviting, welcoming or otherwise. It’s a gargantuan space devoid of patrons (I checked in at around 6:30PM). My first thought was I’d never...
