The cottage room my wife and I booked was barely acceptable. The bed was incredibly hard, the pillows were thin and too soft. The loveseat was too soft to be usable. The tiny tube TV barely worked, even with DISH network, the internet was basically useless. And there was no A/C, so it was a good thing the weather wasn't...

Reserved a motel unit 3 months in advance for our July 4th weekend. Checked-in at the bar and they placed us in a cabin, after stating we reserved the motel (with confirmation) there was nothing they would do. Being a holiday weekend, riding on 2 wheels and late afternoon in an unfamiliar area - there was nothing we could do,...

We stayed in a motel room for the weekend. I agree with other reviewers in that some updating is sorely needed. The bathroom was the worst. Mold around the shower and floor. No hair dryers and shared refrigerator in the common area, so plan appropriately! The restaurant had great food and service. We ate breakfast and lunch. Both were timely...

The breakfast was great. We sat in the main restaurant not the bar. The seating was comfortable and really nice surroundings. We went back to the bar later but the kitchen closed at 3:00pm. Seats on the bar side are really worn and could do with some replacing. Good all around though.

We stayed in a cabin. It was a newly remodeled and was beautiful. The people were friendly there. We were comfortable with six. We stayed here night before our trip to Isle Royale. The ferry boat is just a few blocks away. There is a restaurant and bar right there. They do have wifi but you have to be next...

Good location in the middle of town. Had a great breakfast. Very friendly staff. I have to say it is rustic and needs a little update but clean and comfortable. Hot tub and screened porch. Plenty of rags to clean ect. Not on the water.

We stayed in cabin #14 just for one night. I thought the cabin itself was great! Yes it's small, dated, and has seen better days, but it definitely had an outdoorsy charm to it and was completely adequate for our needs. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel - this isn't for you. As other people mentioned, the check-in...

The "resort" has seen better days. It is one of the less expensive places to stay in Copper Harbor. No clear office location--turns out you check in with the bartender in Zik's, but certainly not apparent. We were in "cabin" #8, which had a lot of deferred maintenance. Poor lighting, varying floor levels that caused us to trip a few...

Had a group of 8 stay here for two nights during a circle tour of Lake Superior. When we asked if the hot tub could be turned on, we got to listen to a 15 minute rant about the government from the owner. A two minute answer would have sufficed. We had two motel rooms (ok for $80/night) and the...
