Motel was very clean and, although basic, had everything we needed. Staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. If you need something, you need only ask. Location was just down the road from Munising. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Michigan is located just 5 miles from Munising in Michigan's upper peninsula. This charming motel is newly remodeled and although my family of four is accustom to staying in larger rooms, in this time of scaling back we were pleasantly surprised that this affordable motel was so clean, and nicely layed out with a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room with two double beds. Everything was very nice and the owners were amazingly accomodating. When we arrived they had already printed out a list of waterfalls in the area which ended up being one of the highlights of the trip for my boys. This motel has a very nice courtyard in the back with badminton and horseshoes as well as picnic tables and grill. The goal of our trip was to experience Munisings pictured rocks which were breathtaking but thanks to the christmas motel we were able to experience so much more and the cost of this cozy room was less than we typically spend on dinner. We will definately be back and would love to spend more than the two nights that we stayed this time. And for all of my fellow purell toting germ-o-phobe's....this motel was so clean I did not even feel the need to fold down the comforter. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to the Munising or Christmas area.

The reviews were accurate, This property was easy to find, convenient, comfy, clean, and so customer-oriented. Beth had the wood already set in the firepit, ready to fire up, which we did with ease. She brought us all the utensils for cooking and we smoked a big ol' salmon for 45 minutes while we sat back and took in the fresh air and forest. She also got us going in the most time-effective way to the best sites in and around Munising. What a great trip! Christmas came early!

They show you the room... as if you have a choice. They'll bill you regardless. The TV from 1980 emitted a high pitch squeal. The shower leaked all over the floor. It's the smallest room I've ever seen... too late though. Book anywhere else!

We stayed here during a 2 week tour of Lake Superior. This is a nice little motel, recently renovated by the owners. Very clean and comfortable bed. Excellent value. The Pictured Rocks area is beautiful and the owner is very friendly and give you very good tips.

We will be staying here again! We couldn't believe the price at first so naturally we wanted to check out the room...WOW!!! So clean and charming! The owners have put alot of homey touches into the newly remodeled rooms. The motel is a work in progress so you might not find an ice machine (on their list to purchase next) or a big crowded pool but you are in the U.P. to enjoy the peace and quiet and that is exactly what you will find here! The owners are very knowledgable about the area and very friendly. Beth even gave us a senior discount on top of the already low price! Plus vouchers to spend at the nearby casino. Proprietor was very nice, room clean and comfortable and the included mini-fridge and coffee/coffee maker were great to have. Located close to Foggy’s restaurant for added convenience. Would stay here again if in the area.

Very friendly staff, efficient check in, knew my name yet the next morning. Room is kind of small but very clean and quiet. Restaurants near by, with a short drive. Small town, motel right on the highway along the circle tour of Lake Superior.

Close to Munising, and Pictured Rocks. Visited Grand Island, which was very close, and numerous site in the Pictured Rocks area. Motel very clean, cozy, and owners were helpful, friendly; and went above and beyond to assist us in every way possible. Enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed 3 nights here & were impressed by the owner, who checked with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms are more spacious than pictures show. Very clean and cozy. Perfect for our needs as our base for exploring the Pictures Rocks and Marquette area. Awesome restaurant nearby, Foggy's. comfy bed. average noise from nearby highway, but we turned the fan on & didn't hear it much. Little fridge in room was convenient. The rates are reasonable & staying in a smaller motel near everything was great. Owner is very responsive, so if you have any questions, just ask.

All rooms have Air conditioning, in room coffee with a 12 cup coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and cable T.V. We also offer a large back yard with picnic tables, charcoal grills, a horseshoe pit, volleyball/ bad mitten, and a fire pit. We provide the wood for you so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your campfire.
