I would had given this review a higher rating but it came down to the cleanliness. Stayed in room 201. When we first got into the room we disinfected all surfaces plus we were getting dust that was on the surfaces. The shower drain was backing up. We notified the staff downstairs about it and they were very friendly about the situation. This was basically the downside of it.
White Pine Lodge is 5 minutes from downtown Munising. Close to the attractions in the area.
The staff were helpful and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast had a nice choice to pick from and they offer free tea or coffee 24/7.
Beds and pillows were comfortable. The Lodge wasn’t offering cleaning services because of the COVID-19 pandemic. You could ask for fresh towels and toilet paper without a problem.
I would definitely stay here again if I had to.
Across the street is Foggy’s bar, it’s always busy and have great food!!! Excellent white fish and steaks. Next to the Lodge is a casino, not too big but big enough for a little fun!

Had a nice stay. Hotel is very convenient with a store and gas station attached. Foggys restaurant across the street and casino next door. Room was good size. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in room, but the do have coffee and tea available in the breakfast room.

Very well cleaned and maintained. AC unit was clean (most places I stayed don't clean the filter often). My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night for our UP trip. Lady at the front desk was very courteous and very nice. Would recommend.

This place is a low grade motel charging 150/night plus. It's completely insane. The staff hate their jobs and are super ride to customers. The cleaners dont wear masks when coming into the room and neither do any of the staff and the rooms are filthy. Wifi is dial up internet speeds. Would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Stayed at White Pine Lodge for one night in October 2020 while visiting Munising and Pictured Rocks. Having a hotel attached to a gas station was surprisingly convenient, and the staff was really friendly.
There was a long line at check-in as the hotel was fully booked, but the staff handled it well.
Room was clean and comfy, with the best bed we slept on during the trip, and the location was great. Will definitely stay here when we return!

The accommodations were good and clean. It is well located as there is a nice restaurant directly across the street and a casino next door. Some of the staff were friendly. But the oddest thing was a sign at the front desk warning guests to essentially behave themselves. It appears they have had problems with uncivilized guests in the past.

Room was clean but outdated, bed was one of the worst we have ever slept on. The entire bed moved around like jello, if you’re looking for a good price and want to sleep this is not a good choice. Look elsewhere.

We had 47 people get rooms here. Staff was very rude. Rooms are dated n not clean. We had wet towels behind our bathroom door. Always being told we were doing something wrong. Did not want us there and will never go back. The breakfast lady mumbled “ she Gates f(!$(ing tourists. Not impressed.

We love this beautiful lodge, the nature surrounding it, and its wonderful owners. Highly recommend. We enjoyed a pontoon trip around the lake, hiking in the woods (pack bug spray!), fishing off the dock, and simply relaxing. Pizza was an excellent option that the lodge offers and very tasty. They even have gluten free pizza! Also, highly recommend the root beer floats. Thank you, Chris, Allison, & Clarence!

This kitschy little roadside motel in Christmas MI surprised us! Rooms were extremely clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was disappointing, with little for those needing protein before a day in the great outdoors. We would stay here again!

Basic breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice coffee and milk, hard boiled eggs
No mini kitchen. only a Microwave and fridge.
