Couldn't have had a better experience! We rented the "owner's cabin" and it was better than we had expected. On-site management was SUPER friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean and spacious. Beach is gorgeous!! Lots of paddle boats, kayaks, etc. for guests. Great fire pit, volleyball area. Wonderful location. Will not hesitate to stay here again and again. The LCI...

Today we left Hills Point Resort with a heavy heart. Let me start with A.J - Roger - Amy 3 of the nicest people you will ever meet, who run the resort. My family of 17 people total had the time of our life. Cottages were great, just as advertised rustic and relaxing. Weather was wonderful - fishing was great...

Cabin 2 bedroom. Wifi - does not work. So much for being able to work from the cabin. The male manager was rude towards my party and not personable at all. Cabins have spiderwebs in Windows: a little elbow grease is needed in these cabins. Chipping paint and overflowing toilets, sinks and showers when you take a brief shower. Plumbing...

we had not been to the islands in a few years and wanted to reproduce our mini-honeymoon from 2011. cabins and the property have been massively improved and upgraded. in two short summers a lot has been done, and there are even now free kayaks, canoes on the beach. the dock has been extended into deeper water and the beach...

Great views of the lake, nice beach, free kayaks and canoes, excellent firepit with wood provided. The cabins could use some updates, specially in the kitchen. Beds are very small and hardly any room to move in the bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bring your own towels. We had a great time with wonderful nature surrounding us.

We've been staying here over 20 years. Currently, as empty nesters, we stay for 2 weeks at a time. The fishing can be spotty but the locals and the staff are more than happy to share the "hot spots" with you. We love walking into the cabin the first time and smell the wonderful white pine. The deck facing the...

Website very misleading. Everything about these cabins was old. Certainly not worth the money. Cooking and eating utensils provided, however it was all garage sale hodge podge. Had to go out to purchase eating utensils and paper plates. Beach was mucky and not swimable. Much better places nearby for the same if not less money. Never again.

New ownership as of July 2012. We have made numerous upgrades to the individual cabins and the whole resort. We will continue to make improvements, but the general vision is to keep the warm wood interiors and general "step back in time" feeling. You can expect courteous managers, clean cabins and amazing sunsets. We look forward to showing you around....
