We stayed here for just one night as we were just passing through. The price was right, but you get what you pay for. The room was clean but outdated. The bathroom was so small that my husband couldn't fit in the shower there were drain flies everywhere. It served its purpose, but we will not be back.

You choose which you hate the most: odor, lack of cleanliness, run-down and neglected decor, only tepid water, no toilet paper, too few towels, thin tattered sheets, dead insects on the floor, small bathroom, trampoline style-springy beds, tube-style TV, poor service. At Heidelberg Motel you ca have all of these at once. Because we spent so much on the room, we stayed because there is NO refund under any circumstances. DO NOT STAY HERE. I should have read the other bad reviews before we signed up for this experience. Oh, and by the way, if you stay more than one night, they do not tidy, vacuum, or clean your room in any way even though you pay the same price for each night stayed there.

Thought this would have a nice German feel and it was anything but that! The entire place was run down and falling apart! The bed have u really bad pain and the comforter was disgusting and probably not washed since the fall of the Berlin Wall! The breakfast was low budget frozen in the scary office that had no place to sit. Do not, I repeat do not stay here!

Booked this hotel due to the location to Frankenmuth, all the other ones were sold out ( now I know why). We arrived after dark to a poorly lit and unfriendly check in. You have to speak through plexi glass and there were hand written signs letting you know there were NO REFUNDS. Upon entering the room it had a pungent smell and outdated decor, towels that are dingy and a bathroom that was disgusting. You get what you pay for, and at this price I would have rather slept in the car.

place is ok if your looking for a cheap crash pad, it is very dated, but it gets the job done, everything worked as it should, bathroom was a bit on the small side, and keep in mind the walls are thin! kudos to the couple in room #3 they had serious stamina, and that adds up that first thing in the morning we hear what sounded like 4 screaming babies (last night we only heard mommy) guess they stayed here before.

My husband and I stayed here on April 26 2013. The room was large had a nice bed. This is a older motel, but it is clean and cute. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again. We were judges for Michigan History day on April 27. We unpacked, then went into town to enjoy a chicken dinner. Rested in our room on April 26 . I did a little shopping. We were up early. We rode out of the motel with coffee from the office. It was a great couples get away.

walls were very thin, could hear everything the neighbors were saying. The room was very clean, but I arrived to an overwhelming scent of cleaner. I needed to air the room out immediately in order consider staying the night. Everything was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water.

It was clean, and for $50 that is all I ask for. Bed was comfortable and we got a king. Pillows were ok. There were a couple spots on the wall that you could see had been patched and not repainted. No power outlet convenient to the bed, and the bathroom (which was tiny) could’ve used more towel hooks. Shower stall, no tub. I would’ve given another star if the window in the bathroom had had a security bar or obvious lock. Based on the design, I don’t think it could be opened from the outside, but I would’ve been more comfortable with a visible lock. We only stayed one night as we were passing through. I would stay again. I would probably spend the money to stay someplace a little nicer if my kids were with me.

Very dirty. Coffee pot filled with dust. There was no lighting by our room very dark. Continental breakfast poor. Instant coffee. I do not recommend anyone stay there.
Cost too much. No one would take a shower.

The website for this hotel was very deceiving. Upon arrival they again requested my credit card even through I had booked over the phone with them. Once we were given a key we realized our mistake in thinking this place would be ok. The room smell hit us in the face when we opened the door. Only after running the window a/c unit did it ease up enough for us to stay. The walls were peeling and it looked like the window unit had been replaced because it didn't fit the hole. This was supposed to be a handicap accessible room and I highly doubt a walker would have fit in the bathroom it my husband had needed to keep it with him. The only upside was that it was just a shower not a tub. That was the only handicap accessible area. There were no outlets accessible to plug in his breathing machine so it was lucky we brought a extension cord. The sidewalk outside our room was in great need of replacing instead of the hundreds attempts at patching. There were three chairs in the room. One at the desk and two for sitting at the provided table to eat at. The table was a plastic tv tray type barely big enough for two plates. The two chairs at the table were actually office furniture. Had they not charged my card already I would have left but as it was we could ill afford to go any place else. There was not any breakfast and we had to wait for someone to come to take our key. What a disappointment!
