The first thing I noticed was the clean smell in the lobby. Rooms were clean. Showers had great water pressure and hot water. Toilets are low which may be a problem for those with knee/hip problems. Beds were high and comfortable. Good variety of options for breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Mattress was very high suggest foot stool for shorter people so they can get into bed. Hot tub great and pool not busy. A number of construction workers were staying there, they were good representatives of America's youth. Breakfast was enjoyable.
Tried to book a visit. The front desk clerk messed it up. I tried to talk to the manager Trent he was rude No help. Then I googled the general manager because Trent refused to give me his bosses number. Kurtis zendiorski is who I got in touch with and he was Extremely rude. I started explaining my problem with the hotel and he told me I was a crazy person for calling him ( apparently it was his private number) I told him I was unaware of it being his private number because it was listed on the internet ... I told him no wonder his employees were so rude and acted the way they did.
This hotel is in a good location; which is an amazing there are literally one of the restaurants and shops within minutes of the hotel. I had no problems, issues, or concerns at this hotel, and overall I had a great stay.
Overall the stay was tolerable. Upon check in, the desk clerk’s manner wasn’t as professional as it could have been. She seemed annoyed when my husband asked for a fresh pot of coffee in the lobby. First night, the temperature in the room was hard to regulate using the wall mounted unit which I have always done in the past. Upon checking with the morning clerk, I learned I should have adjusted the temperature using the register under the window. Without any prior knowledge of this, it was impossible to regulate the temp. At breakfast, the employee that served the breakfast was very nice. However, the food was tepid at best. Granted we ate later (about 9 am) but hot food should be hot. The pancakes were tough. The room was quiet and sufficient. Room was located close to the elevator which was convenient. Nice sized bathroom but the toilet was quite low. I killed a spider in the bathroom the second morning (reported same to the desk clerk who apologized). Easy check out. Hotel is near interstate so it was easy to find. We have stayed at this location in the past but doubtful if we will in the future.…
We've never had trouble with a Holiday Inn Express before. This time was bad! The lobby and hallways smelled strongly of marijuana. Thankfully our room didn't, but we were concerned our clothes would. I know that Michigan has legalized it, but does this hotel allow it to be smoked inside?! I would think all smoking must be done outside. Also, our room lacked a blow dryer, which they provided after requesting. The noise from other rooms was too loud, especially for late during the night. There was some mold in the shower. We were very disappointed with this stay. Won't make that mistake again!
Came here for a weekend with the girls, very nice hotel. Staff friendly, room good size, very clean, large bathroom. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. 2 queen size beds and there was plenty of room. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker w/coffee and tea, plus available in the lobby as well. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a busy day. Very conveniently located next to outlet mall, and highway, and Frankenmuth just a short distance. Would definitely stay here again.
Our family typically stays at holiday inn so we know what to expect- clean rooms, hot breakfast, comfy beds. No issues other than the room floor being a little dirty. Not sure how thorough housekeeping was after the prior guests. Otherwise it was great.
My friend and I stayed this past weekend for a girl's trip to Frankenmuth. The hotel was perfectly located, easy to get in and out of and comfortable enough. I did have to go buy a fan for the second night, the room was deathly quite and just TOO quite for me to sleep. That's my quirk and usually just what people are looking for. My real issue is we checked in Saturday and were checking out on Monday. When we got back to the room Sunday night, we found out our keys had been deactivated, and we couldn't get into the room. But, and this is a big but, we had used the key to get into a side door right by the elevator. It was concerning to me that the keys still let us into the building. We shouldn't have been able to get into the side door at all. This seems like security issue. We went to the front desk to get the keys reactivated and the employee just kept saying someone must have put the nights in wrong, which I get, but kept ignoring the safety issue that the keys let us into the back side door.…
Staff were friendly. Proximity to Frankenmuth and outlet malls is close. Beds were extremely comfortable. Nice play to stay at affordable rates.Breakfast was tasty and the dining area was well staffed. Nice temperate pool(indoor).
